Ah, the age old question! "Find yourself" holidays, philosophical theories and, when asked of you (repeatedly), a good song! How can I compete with all that?
Basically I am a book nerd, living just outside London, England. I am married. I study medieval history... What do you write in these things?
Okay, in an effort to answer this I have decided to answer some of the questions (because some of them are boring) from this ridiculous quiz meant to provide for those seeking to overshare! Excited? No? That is probably appropriate... Ready for a tedious list? That's more like it!
How old are you? - As old as my tongue and slightly older than my teeth. Is it only my family members that have said that? It is a response I remember hearing a lot as a child... In 2014 I will turn 27.
What is the link to your website, blog, or myspace? - Blog wise -No link needed, you are already there! MySpace? Just shows you how old this quiz is.
What is your height? - Average. I am forever in a debate with my brother who insists that I am not 5'7" as I claim to be. But I don't like to get tape measures involved in such things...
Do you wear glasses or contacts? - I am supposed to wear glasses when I read because otherwise I get headaches. But I never think about until I start getting a headache.
Are you right handed or left handed? - Right handed. My Mom claims that left-handed people are superior, but I think that is just her way of saying that my brother is her favourite. (She hates when I say that)
Do you have any piercings? - What a potentially scandalizing question? Or I guess it would have been at the time this quiz was popular. My ears are pierced, but the whole fill in every time I go a few months without wearing earrings. Irritating.
Do you swear? - Yes. Yes I do. But not on here.
Do you get along with your parents? - Of course I do! And I am not saying that just because my Mom reads this blog...
Your heritage? - Politically correct way of asking that question. I like it. British by way of Canada.
Your fears? - Needles, mostly. I once had a nurse tell me off for crying. Apparently I was worse in my early twenties than most small children. I can't even watch other people getting them.
Goal you would like to achieve this year? - I am endeavouring to read 50 books this year. Considering Infinite Jest took me just over two months to get through, I am playing catch up now.
Most overused phrase on instant messenger? - Is this still a thing?
Best physical feature? - Trees.
Your bedtime? - When I get sleepy aka really early.
What time do you arise in the morning? - Arise? Shortly after my alarm informs me that I have to.
First thoughts on waking up? - Explitives.
Do you shower regularly? - Who would say that they don't? I mean, who would admit, in a publically accessible place, to being the kind of person that does not shower?
This or that? - Also known as the section where everyone gets to pass judgement on your personal tastes!
Bright or dark room? - For sleeping, watching films and developing photos (not that I have a clue how to do that) - dark room. Everything else - bright room.
Chocolate or vanilla? - Chocolate. There is no question here for me. I am willing to throw down the figurative gauntlet on this one. I don't like anything about vanilla except the smell and the fact that it makes baked goods taste slightly nicer. But vanilla cake/ice cream etc? Waste of an option.
Dogs of cats? - Dogs of cats... are these dogs that belong to cats? Because seeing a cat take a dog for a walk would be interesting. Presumably that was meant to be an "or" so here goes - Dogs. I am going to hopefully placate you, people of the internet, for I know your love for cats, by saying that I am allergic to cats. And that cats always seem to seek out those that are allergic to them as part of some sort of plan to punish us.
Pepsi or Coke? - Coke. But I try to only drink water when possible.
McDonalds or Burger King? - Remember when these seemed liek the only two responses to the "fast-food burgers" question? McDonalds. I really don't like Burger King.
Ant or Dec? - I hate them equally. I have gotten a lot of flack for this from my friends here in the lovely UK, so I am sorry for this but I find them both unbearably irritating.
Lipton Ice Tea or Nestea? - Hippy answer - I make my own Iced Green Tea with lemon.
Cappuccino or coffee? - Coffee ice cream.

Drank alcohol? - Yes. Scandal!
Eaten a box of Oreos? - A whole box? Is this in one sitting or do you just have to have consumed the box within the month? Either way the answer is no because Oreos in the UK taste different than the ones in Canada and I have not adjusted. I have easily eaten a packet of chocolate Hobnobs though.
Eaten sushi? - Yes. I love sushi. I have it as often as I can and I want to learn to make it myself.
Been on stage? - Weeding out the performers, I see? Nope.
Been dumped? - No, I am married and past the stage of being dumped/dumping people. There is a big scary D word involved now that my partner and I plan to avoid at all costs.
Gone skinny dipping? - Well, I never! And I mean that. I have never done this. I worry that I am too old now...
Stolen Anything? - Does taking your partner's things count? Cause then absolutely.

Laughed for no reason? - Does anyone do this? Surely there must be a reason, even if it is innappropriate or doens't make any sense... Laughter must be provoked by something. It isn't like the hiccups, which are a plague with no cause that sneaks up on you when you least expect it.
Been in love? - I would certainly hope so. I suppose my partner would hope so too.
Fired a gun? - No. I, like so many people, should not be trusted with firearms. I am clumsy enough to fall up stairs regularly so such things are best kept away from me.
Been drunk? - Yes, unfortunately. Never a fun thing to be.
Been called a tease? - Yes because PATRIARCHY!
Been beaten up? - No because I believe in non-violence and running away.
Shoplifted? - No. I had friends in school that did, but the terror of my parents finding out was far too great.

Furry thing you touched? - Hmmm... I can think of a lot of fuzzy things but not many furry ones. A random dog in the park that ran up to me so I would play fetch with him.

Planet? - Pluto for life! Little planets need love too and don't deserve to be judged based on their size! But as far as which planet I would like to live on, I have to go with Earth. Breathable air, food and water are priorities for me. Plus, all my things are already here.
Age you have been so far? - Probably like three or four? One of my nephews is three and he seems to be having the time or his life.
