Secret trio but Jake and Danny doesn't realise the ninja is human-
Aka they only always meet up as heroes and they would see ninja pull out actually cool and legit ninja moves and techniques and also heard about the rumors that the ninja is actually immortal- While Randy, even though he tried to tell em it always get interrupted and maybe couldn't reveal himself (either cause nomicon said so or the suit/mask doesn't off whenever he's around the two(or it won't activate when he's just randy and wanted to wear it to prove it's him)
So they thought the ninja is actually this immortal being (Also in this au Randy is actually more competent, he just have bad luck lol- less of a klutz and actually a decently skilled ninja) until at some big bad fight, things went south and Randy gets really hurt and that's also when they finally see his true identity
Just got this idea randomly so i had to write and share it XD
Bonus points if the other two already knew eachother or have revealed their real identity and randy knows who they are but had to act and pretend he doesn't while keeping his own a secret-
Extra bonus points if at some point the two started doubting their own bond with the ninja because of what they thought was a lack of trust and possibly Randy getting caught doing suspicious things that would almost seem like he's planning to betray or hurt them, but he's actually just trying to actually help them- he just forgot to tell them and didn't mean to do it secretly- (aka bad luck coming in and dousing Randy with a bucket of misunderstanding™)
The two trying to confront and corner the ninja to get answers and pressure the identity reveal more, escalating into a full on argument/fight, mostly the ninja trying to reason and defend himself while running away (because Randy barely fight these two on a supernatural level- plus even if he could he hates having to potentially hurt his friends in any capacity)
Some hurtful things get said, Randy gets really sad and STILL can't reveal himself so he just end up leaving and then maybe he end up trying to fight a villain alone and gets critically injured, relises he really needs help and resorted to calling the two for help-
They're initially still upset and reluctant/skeptical until they realise something's wrong and rushed over to find the ninja is actually Randy-
And then a cute, happy, fluff filled recovery ending ensues<3
(Also for Randy's ninja voice imagine it normally gets magically distorted whenever he's wearing the mask and also becomes magically more durable while in the suit- and because the two half bros think he's immortal, they kinda don't hold back when they train or play around with their powers around the ninja, and Randy pretends he can take the hits nor problem, but is actually just managing the pain- ...until they look/went away and he freaking collapses, groaning in pain and complaining out loud about why the nomicon would do this to him)
