Was watching a lets play of source and it was old enough gameplay that it was before the update that removed one of the characters from the game. Now I'm feeling things again :( It makes me remember how much I miss Mikey. We were never super close, but for a while he one of the only people in that town that would talk to me on a regular basis. Even if it only was because he was literally paying me to talk to him and I did kinda hated his cowboy schtick at first. We got to know eachother a bit better outside of my hotline job later on, and those chats were nice though.

I miss a lot of my source friends, but my missing of Mikey's always been different since he was completely scrubbed from any offical content. Plus there's only 6 total fanworks with him I've been able to find (that's including both fanart & fanfic) so I don't see him often. I don't know if I could fully consider him a friend, moreso a friendly acquaintance, but I just wish he could call me again. Even if I have to put up with his cowboy roleplay shenanigans.

ya know, I think things went differently in my canon than they did in the actual canon. When I think back to my fight against the sorcerer and evil Juilan, I remember.... red. Not the red on my scarf but.... I think it was blood. I released the Sorcerer and we took down Juilan then he attacked me, swiped at me with his sword, then.... Howard screamed, I fell down and, when I wake up I’m at home in my bed. The whole thing is foggy and Howard isn’t telling me what happened. Actually, he’s been acting weird since..... Well on the bright side, there haven’t been any monsters or robots attacking NHS lately! And Juilan is doing okay too! Been super boring with no reason to go ninja out, and Howard acting weird is making me anxious, but at least the sorcerer and McFist are gone! ~Randy Cunningham (#randykin)

Nomicon, listen. You’re my teacher and I respect you with every fiber of my being. But what the wonk is up with the “Friendship is a weight the ninja cannot carry” lesson? That doesn’t make any sense! Yeah keeping the ninja’s identity is VERY important but Howard and I have been friends since forever! now don’t get me wrong, I love being the ninja. It’s the super Bruce cheese. But whenever I think about like... not being able to save Howard or someone I care about.... or forgetting all of this in less than 4 years.... or the thought of dying.... I get so scared. And I feel like I can’t tell anyone because I’m the Ninja. I have to stay strong for everyone. I don’t even think Howard would understand if I told him.
