i likely won't legally change my name for the simple fact i like its meaning in both etymology and family story/sentiment and there is no "neutral" version of it. yes, i have searched it, yes, i won't disclose it despite the fact it is easy to guess. don't tell me i am less of a nb person because of that or that my dysphoria makes less sense if i'm comfortable with my birth name because i have a /good emotional bond/ with it. groans.
