Ngl I've been having less and less fun with "fantasy races" the more I interact with people from the global north and realize that you guys do actually see culture as being racial and sort of innate rather than just an amalgamation of the characteristics of the environment a person occupies and grows up in. It's kind of depressing, every time I see a list of "oh the elf this is like that, the orc this is like that" I'm just thinking like you actually think like that about real people you actually characterize people, people from my country, my neighbors, exactly how you do this put them in your little boxes and I'm just I'm not really having fun anymore you know
