I need to preface that the whole “submitting your ID to verify your age” is not because of “protect the children”. It’s FULLY to control what you do, say, and see on the internet, as well as your freedom of speech, even censor queer and POC creators and allow people to datamine your personal information. Do you know how fucking easy it will be for someone to steal your information with this? No one is going to be anonymous on the internet anymore, and that is fucking terrifying.

It’s not about the children, it never was. And you should be absolutely fucking furious about this.

Your aus just being overwhelming pessimism kinda sucks. Rot being “everybody gets infected, Shadow!s infected and gonna die too, there is no counter.” Is so basic and dreary, it’s like an unfinished story where the next page would be that being broken through some crazy hype storytelling that inspires hope. What’s the point in having characters if you’re just killing all of them with no good in the world? The world sucks, do your best to make it BETTER, not sit around and mope about it!

Then go to another fucking blog if you have such an issue. I’m not gonna bend over backwards to make a happy au that is purposefully made to NOT BE THAT! I like bleak stories so I’m going to make one! I don’t give a fuck if you think it’s “pessimistic” or whatever. It’s MY fucking au and I can do whatever I want with it.
