Thorn is a Pentaceratops, and he's just a huge prick. Overly aggressive, he picks fights with anyone and anything regardless of reason. He's been outcasted by his kind for this behavior, and now he travels alone (mostly).

Rereading Briar’s Book after living through a global pandemic makes it hit so much harder. Just like little things like Tris complaining about her glasses fogging up bc she has to wear a mask and them wearing the best PPE they have while trying to find a cure and the people working so hard to find a cure getting sick and not being able to help

Also a total tangent but how did I not realize lark and Rosethorn were together the first time I read this quartet???? Like Lark calling Rosethorn “love” and “Rosie” and literally no one else doing it??? My repressed middle school self was missing so much subtext

Yearly reminder to leave wheelchair users alone. This is important all year, but especially in winter!

Almost everywhere is designed for abled people, leaving wheelchair users at a disadvantage. Roads are uneven, there is unpaved walking paths, and in winter we get extra obstacles.

Wheelchair users are forced to take whatever path we can and sometimes that happens to be right smack in the middle of the road.

If a wheelchair user seems stuck (especially in winter) you can ask us if we would like some help. Otherwise please be patient with us and only drive or walk around us if it is safe to do so! Wheelchair users' lives are more important than wherever you are driving. You can wait.

Starting off with an Angsty Stoatpaw post Ermineclaw’s death.

His way of coping with the loss of his father was to resent him. You can’t miss someone you don’t like.

Now a couple of incomplete Snail and Ermine drawings:

These got abandoned out of frustration for minor stuff lol character sizing, placement, Snailsteps ears which cause me endless torment, Ermineclaw’s hind legs…. Etc etc.

Snailsteps favorite thing is teasing her mate. He only pretends not to like it.

Now for some Rosethorn.

Her design has changed so much it’s hard to post her. She had a mega crush on Owlface ever since she was an apprentice and he was not interested or impressed by her many attempts to get his attention. She was too young for him, had previously bullied his little sister, and he’d just gone through a traumatic breakup
