Your aus just being overwhelming pessimism kinda sucks. Rot being “everybody gets infected, Shadow!s infected and gonna die too, there is no counter.” Is so basic and dreary, it’s like an unfinished story where the next page would be that being broken through some crazy hype storytelling that inspires hope. What’s the point in having characters if you’re just killing all of them with no good in the world? The world sucks, do your best to make it BETTER, not sit around and mope about it!
