Raphael chastises his beloved warlock. I like it when this man threatens us, don't you?
The warlock does not find a place for herself. It's already evening, all the new comrades have gone to their tents. The girl rustles a few items in her bag, she does not believe that she has lost the most important thing. An amulet that allowed her master to keep an eye on her and contact him.
A quiet flash, the sharp smell of fire and the sweetness of cherries.
The familiar velvety voice makes her shudder, turn around and plop down on the ground. She looks up at her master from below, sitting on the grass.
"Get up, you pathetic creature"
Raphael frowns and folds his arms over his chest, looks away while the girl awkwardly stands up and shakes herself off.
Such a performance inevitably attracted her new companions. They were about to approach the guest, but with an eloquent snap of his fingers, Raphael outlined a circle of fire around Tav's tent, forcing them to watch them speechlessly.
The devil looked disgustedly at Tav, who guiltily lowered her head in front of him.
"Eyes on me," he purred in an explanatory tone, leaning slightly towards the girl.
Tav straightened up and turned her puppy dog eyes to Raphael.
"You went on a mission, and now I find my servant in a completely unrelated place. And you lost my thing," Raphael said the last in a particularly angry tone and turned the lost medallion in front of his nose.
The girl was inspired by the amulet she found and tried to grab it, the devil was upset and hid it in his fist.
"No, no. Useful toys get my attention, not unsuccessful runaways."
"Raphael, I was in no way going to deceive you. I was going to complete the task, but..." Tav, with trembling lips, tries to justify herself to him, to tell him about her abduction by the illithids.
"Silence" Raphael smiles at her condescendingly.
"Do you know what the punishments are for disobedient warlocks?" Raphael thinks about it and turns your attention to Will, standing confused in the distance. "Your new friend is a good example. Mizora graciously decorated his appearance with infernal paraphernalia. But will it suit you?" Raphael returns his gaze to Tav and thinks about it. "No, because my infernal features are your weakness, so it will not be a punishment."
The devil leans towards her, causing the girl a mixture of primordial fear with a hint of embarrassment. Raphael straightens up and smiles maliciously, baring his teeth.
"There is one appearance that scares you. A lovely tadpole in this empty head. What scares you more, what can I or he do?" The sly question makes you shrink in fear and becomes somewhat lower.
"We can both tear apart your body and make your soul wander forever. I am more creative and many people find the monotony more unbearable than just suffering. But I won't play with you forever either."The devil boringly examined his nails and roughly took Tav by the chin.
"Those soft lips, the diligent tongue, how much pleasure they brought me. It will be a shame when the pretty face is replaced by tentacles..." The devil was talking about your past acts of love. The problem in your head felt more and more acute under the onslaught of his threats.
It's hard for Tav to speak while her lower jaw is clamped in the devil's fingers.
"Am I going to help you? Why should I? You are still capable of running my errands. I'll find a new case for you soon. And the problem with tadpoles is exclusively yours." Raphael lifted her chin and let go. The warlock was hurt by both his words and his contemptuous look.
Raphael reveled in Tav's subdued state for a few more seconds.
He snapped his fingers and disappeared, along with the perimeter of the fire around the tent.
Tav slowly sank to the ground. Her excited companions came up to her, but her attention was busy. The girl replayed in her memory her past, the devil's favorite, sharing a bed with him at night and power during the day. She no longer remembers her life without him. The devil and his two faithful assistants, she no longer sees her life in another company. She knows the layout of the house of hope better than anything.
Half of her things are gifts from Raphael. Her ornate sword, elegant boots, cloak, everything perfectly matched the devil's style. It seems that yesterday the devil saw her off with a kiss on the forehead, and today he looks at her with disgust and is disappointed in her. Tav wilts like a flower until the group puts her in order.

"Korilla, my dear, you look upset. Don't worry, your friend won't leave us so soon, she just needs a little shake." Raphael said this into the void in front of him, and at the end of the phrase turned to the side, a puzzled Korilla materialized among the tall grass.
"Look at her throwing like it's our client," Raphael thought for a few moments, "And follow her, help her if anything happens, but do everything unnoticed. Let her think that the devil's mercy has left her" Raphael's eyebrows rise dreamily and he smiles slyly.
Corilla is comforted by the familiar emotions of the devil.
"The assignment is accepted, Master."
