"Does anyone remember back in July, when people are in full panic mode because of the brand new episode of the rapscallions to the point where everyone and their grandma's are spoiling the episode to their friends and family that both duke & bubba were aware about dickson & bianca's existence and they have to fight them back before its too late?, I guess I'm probably the only one who remembers it.."

Just a fair reminder that those photos are fake and I just edited them by replacing the SpongeBob ones with some fake screenshot drawings I made both yesterday and today(no really the unedited versions are actually just showing SpongeBob episodes), here are the originals!

The Disney TVA Gigaleak included the pilot of Rapscallions created by Aurian Redson (Walt Disney Animation Studios "Meet The Robinsons", "Tangled", "Bolt").

The pilot was one of the last animated fully animated pilots from Disney Television Animation.

2024 Comic Project

August Review | Weeks 31-34

Another month come and gone. We see our hero scrounging for scraps and avoiding scrapes. What will become of them next?

I'll just go ahead and toot my own horn - I think this month's worth of pages are some of the best-looking I've put out so far. I've wondered since the beginning if this project whether I would notice a considerable change in my drawings or quality of work - especially when drawing the same character over and over for an entire year.

While I'm still working on perfecting my line quality, I'm happy that I've become more confident with the brush pen. Adding little details and textures to make things feel less neat and stiff, and more organic and expressive, while still maintaining clear silhouettes and forms is pretty much the goal I went for from the outset. My pencils are still some of my favorite bits from this project, in part to their looseness. Even in ink, not everything has to be clearly defined or outlined, and in fact variation is where things can shine.
