Decided to add this Rarity x Fancy Pants kid to my main MLP next gen universe. If you've been following me on DeviantArt for a while, you may recall that he was originally part of my Disliked Ships AU (which is currently in the process of being revamped) because I originally wasn't a big fan of RariPants.
But then, something happened over the years. It grew on me. I think maybe the reason I didn't like it originally is because all the foals for it looked so GENERIC. Almost all of them are a white unicorn with either a blue or purple mane. I'm not saying that people are bad to design them, as some of them are great, but it gets kinda old after a while. I decided to stray away from that with this guy's design by mixing Fancy's colors with that of Rarity's parents to make a more original palette.

General Info:
Regal Splendor, or Regal Rhyme as he prefers to be called, was never into fashion or the high life like his parents. He ended up discovering his talent in poetry after being introduced to it by a good friend's mother and later changed part of his name to better match his profession. Rhyme can often be seen sipping from a cup of coffee or hanging out at his local poetry club. The guy is pretty chill most of the time, and often looks at things like "Okay, whatever."
Relationships:
Regal Rhyme has a good relationship with most of his parents, both of them whole heartedly supporting his profession. His closest friends are Maud Pie's son Timber Stone and Applejack's son Harrison Cider. Timber is a fun stallion to hang out with and his mother Maud was the pony that introduced him to his love of poetry. Harrison is a very calm and easygoing stallion that Rhyme enjoys hanging out with, and lately he's noticed that Harrison might have eyes on a pony they occasionally meet in Canterlot...

These are future versions of The Mane Six in my Next Gen series, the Upsy Daisy verse. The designs might change overtime and maybe I’ll do full body versions but I’m happy how they look now.
The bios aren’t as long as the others, I’m still trying to work things out and if I explained everything it’ll be, like, 10 pages. Currently, the Upsy Daisy Verse is canon compliant up to The Best Gift Ever so Season 9 ain’t included. I know it’s not begun yet so it’s too early to judge, I personally just don’t like the idea of Twilight and the others becoming rulers of Equestria. But, hey. Maybe it won’t be so bad and I might include it. We’ll see.
Anyho, onto the bios!
Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie are happily married with two daughters Bright Eyes and Berry Bubblegum. Pinkie took to wearing a bandana and eventually cutting her hair short due to Twilight complaining about her hair shedding everywhere. Technically has the official title of Princess Consort Pinkamena Diane Pie but has never acted royally and, despite a bit of added chub and wrinkles, is still the same ol’ Pinkie. As well as being Princess Consort, Pinkie has moved on from Sugar Cube Corner and started her own commission based cake making company and from time to time is called to organise a party. Twilight also cut her hair alongside Pinkie, which wasn’t easy since at that point in her life her hair turned Alicorn galaxy wavy-level. Unlike Celestia and Luna, she isn't immortal and is grateful for that, despite stressing about wrinkles. Don’t worry, though. Pinkie always saves enough kisses for each one.
Rarity tends to wear more jewellery these days and has taken to wearing her glasses permanently since her eyes are gradually getting worse. Probably just as well. She’d flip if she saw how her faded her hair looked. She is also married to Fancy Pants and they have two sons, Chuck Lindsneigh and Ace Dandy, and one daughter, Opal. Aside from those things, Rarity remains Ponyville’s favourite fashionista.
Rainbow Dash has changed a lot since her younger days. Her wife (then partner), Spitfire, was involved in an accident that caused her to be paraplegic from the waist down. The couple retired from the Wonderbolts and Rainbow became her full-time carer and well as active soccer mum to their children Tornado Rush and Lickety-Split. Rainbow was happy to help but she was constantly stressed. Not only was she taking care of Spitfire but she also attending all of Rush’s transition appointments (Tornado Rush is a trans woman and transitioned as a teenager) and dealt with a rebellious son. Eventually, things worked out but the stress took its toll on her appearance. She still swears she finds more wrinkles and grey hairs every day.
AppleJack became a tough, stubborn and no-nonsense, big ol’ country mama, just what everyone expected from the owner of Sweet Apple Acres. Her physical appearances are minimal. She has the odd wrinkle here and there and now wears her hair a bit differently. She also has a small bit of her ear missing from a Timberwolf attack. She is married to Rockhoof, her Pillar counterpart, and they have twins, Pale Umber and Orin.
Due to having three children with chaos powers and taking care of the animals, Fluttershy also cut her hair shorter to save herself from tying it up all the time. It also turned paler rather than grey but she doesn’t mind a little white hair. She perhaps took motherhood a lot better than her friends, practically second nature to her, though she still had her own unique troubles. In her older age, Fluttershy has taken to wearing long scarves and pashminas since she claims to always be cold. Her husband Discord, however, suspects it’s to hide the scar on her neck, which she received on a rescue mission to save their eldest, Upsy Daisy. The pair also have two sons, Lucky Bug and baby Hullabaloo.

This Valentine's Day project's theme is Proposals. Here is a picture of the day Fancy Pants proposed to Rarity.
They'd been dating less than a year by the time he proposed. Honestly, he would've proposed a month in if he wasn't afraid it'd be too fast for her(she totally would've said yes if he had though)
The two of them went on their own private vacation on Fancy's boat. They stayed in Luna Bay, but the nights there are beautiful. Fancy asked that the staff give them some privacy, but, well, they all knew he was going to propose. Just imagine everypony who could leave their post hiding behind doors and running out to congratulate them.
Neither of them could stop smiling for, like, a week after.
