Personality/ Background: Iridescent Pearl is the eldest daughter of the reigning queen of fashion and o’ctour Rarity Shine owner of various boutiques around equestria and the face of multiple covers of Pony Vogue. With such a dazzling repertoire it’s no wonder that Iridescent Pearl feels like a small insignificant shadow. She’s not stupid she knows that the world(aka the Canterlot elite) is watching her as and seeing what she is going to do. Is she gonna take the reigns of her mother's crown and bring a whole new vision to fashion or is she gonna trip and fall on her paws like an idiot. And if you thought being a regular pony/pegasus was difficult to succeed in Canterlot try being a 5 feet tall, slinky, furry feline.
Needless to say Iridescent has received her fair share of specism among the elite community. They often dote on and behave in front of her mother but the minute Rarity turns her back the whispery comments and glances start to fly her way. But Irie doesn't let it get to her! She doesn't let their snide comments burrow into her fur, she doesn't let the gossip wriggle into her paranoia, she doesn't let the weight of everyone's gaze weigh her to the floor, and she especially doesnt stay awake late at night crying into her pillow and wishing for a small sense of freedom. She doesn't…………….until she can’t.
Special: Irie is actually known throughout the Cosplay and Artist community due to her amazing fantasy jewelry she posts on various forums and magazines. Her skills make her able to replicate any character jewelry to a T and further enhance a piece to any cosplayers outfit. (she also dabbles in weapon replication as well). She’s done a few pricey commissions here and there but sadly hasn't pursued it as a career option. *I mean what would the Canterlot have to say to that.
