Elder Rasband’s talk has left me a little downcast, unsatisfied, and sad, and I’m sure many others feel the same. Remember, when major issues are not addressed, that may be an indicator that they will change and have knowledge revealed on them later; for now, we are to focus on family- questions of gender, sexuality, abuse, and other issues will be addressed and answered in the Lord’s own timing.
My heart goes out to other lgbtq+ members who are still struggling with these difficult topics and the organization of the church. Remember you are loved. God accepts you and wants you in His church. Everything will be made right someday.
