Evening is heavy gardening time. Here's the salmonberry I removed from the raspberry bed. It will never fruit because it actually wants to be standing in water in shaded woods. I don't normally toss good plants like this but it really is symbolic of how stuck my housemate felt when she was here, and it's the depths of summer, so the bush goes as a magickal act of release. Apparently you can bend raspberry canes back towards the ground and grow them into hoops. I'm going to try this with the extra space.
