"I'll leave my rats to themselves while I go deal with some things. I'm sure they'll be fine."
Started playing Ratopia, never felt so called out by a game
No skills, poor, exp gain debuff, cries when even moderately unhappy.
full time job

Got a new game, Ratopia, and it has briefly taken over my life.
Still learning how everything works, so I'm probably about to start over again to do it better next time. But I do have a story that developed around the end.
By the end of this kingdom we had two fishers: Elsa and Max. Elsa fished from a pond right near the surface, just across from the eating area. Max fished from a pond way down deep in the mines.
Since Elsa was right near the food hall, I just left her to carry her fish there herself. With Max being way down deep, he needed more of a setup. I gave him a chest to put his fish in, and a porter whose whole job was taking the fish from that chest and moving them to the food chest upstairs.
But while I was down there, suddenly here comes Elsa with a fish, to put in the chest. She then sits down, takes the fish back out of the chest, and eats it.
And this keeps happening. I have no idea what weird AI issues caused this particular problem. Best I can guess is her fishing spot was just out of the table's range. But even then the main food chest should have been closer I think??? idk, but I'll try to set things up better next time.
My brother got me the game Ratopia for Christmas, and this was the card he sent along with it.
