I would probably go find the TARDIS and travel in time!! DUH! Lol....I would steal things tbh.

Well I do have a shit load of pins from this years AM2, so I would call that a collection. Why? Because they were cute and I couldn't resist....and cause I can.

Um...I think it was a dream, but there was like this "person" outside my window, and then i turned around and I saw him in the TV and yeah that was creepy but it probably had nothing to do with the question.

Here's a prompt quietly ripped off the internet: Cinderella prompt, the glass slipper doesn't fit "Cinderella" but instead fits one of the horrible "sisters". Write the scene and how the characters react/cope with it. Except Avengers or Thor it up?

Loki is, of course, the prince.  The hair, the eyes, the general aura of "I will fuck your shit up if you don't pay attention to me, but not with my hands, with my words", and that's surprising to Sir Nicholas as Loki looks at each of his children in turn and assesses them.

Thor, the youngest, the one that held his attention at the ball, has a certain swagger that Nicholas occasionally wants to slap out of him.  It always passes, though, simply because Thor is - well, he's Thor.  He's a charmer, always has been, from cradle to now.  He's big and blonde and beautiful and it makes Nicholas wonder why he chose this family to raise, this strange collection of children from the streets.

Then there is Natasha, one of two middle children. She's betrothed to Clint, the weapon's master from another village and though she loves him, she's startlingly beautiful in her own right.  He red hair boasts of her Northern parentage, and her green eyes even moreso.  Nicholas is, perhaps, the most proud of her; to fight against her history and come out on top, come out the winner.

Bruce is the same age as Natasha, but they could not be more different; hes quiet and studious and prefers his books to play-fighting or practicing weapons.  Nicholas wonders why Bruce chose to stay at the house when he could have made a fortune in the city working with doctors and scientists, but every time Nicholas asks, Bruce simply tells him that this is the place that he'd rather be.

Steven is the eldest, not counting Anthony who Nicholas does not count, thank you very much.  Steven is best with arms and fighting, due to his long military career - as soon as he could sign up to be in the army, he did - and it's been a distinguished career.  His first and only love died when he was young, and since then he hasn't taken a companion - Nicholas would know - but if that is the way that Steven prefers it, so be it.

Loki circles them all and Thor preens at the slight attention, when Loki turns to a manservant and presents a silver-gilt shoe.  The four look at each other in wonderment, and Loki says, "The person whom this shoe fits shall be my partner.  I have visited all the other homes of the people I met at the ball and this is the last.  Will you submit?"

They all nod.  Thor, of course, presents himself first and the manservant eases his shoe off and then tries to put the other on - and to the shock of all the people in the room, it simply doesn't fit.  It would have never fit.  Thor tries to protest it, but with the wave of a hand Loki dismisses him.

Steve steps up next - "I know it's not me," he says - and true to his word, Steve's foot is far too large and with a bow, he goes off to his troops to run them through mock-battles against the approaching armies.

That leaves Natasha and Bruce, and both are looking uneasy at the thought.  Nicholas is, to say the least, very surprised.

Natasha extends a delicate foot and the shoe actually slips on over the one she's already wearing, and she smiles and shrugs and Loki still presses a kiss to her hand before she sweeps away to finish the letter to Clint that Nicholas knows she's writing.

Loki looks down at Bruce, who's pale and shaking as the manservant eases his work-boot off and the silver one on, and it's a perfect fit, something that Bruce clearly expected.  Nicholas is surprised.  Bruce, he knows, eschews balls and the like and was in his workroom all the night.

Loki waves away the manservant and kneels next to Bruce, something surprising - in all his long years, Nicholas has never seen a king-to-be kneel at the side of a commoner.

"This shoe fits, but this is not the face I saw at the ball.  Explain to me why."

Bruce shrugs.  "I may be skilled with some of the more arcane arts."

"'May be' would not be the phrase I would have used.  Why did you not show as yourself?"

"Why would you want someone like me at your side?  Is Thor not more desireable?"

Loki lifts one of Bruce's hands and presses a kiss to it, grinning slightly.

"Perhaps, in some ways.  But not all - he certainly does not have your brilliance, my friend."

Loki rises and tugs Bruce to his feet, then pulls him towards the waiting carriage.

Well then.  At least that's one of them married off proper.

Nicholas turns his only eye on Thor, who comes sneaking down the stairs.  Thor shrugs, embarrassed.

Nicholas sighs.  "I hear tell," he says, "that the Lady Jane might be in need of wooing."

Thor brightens.  Simple boy.  He does love them all, in their own ways.

WHUMP!  rather pleased, honestly.

Aww, I wish you could get Hot Toys Loki. I didn't think I could at first, but I worked it out. Yeah....the moment I have spending money I am buying the comics. @_@
