@deluxe-distrait​‘s Splatlads AU has taken over my brain.

This is the first time I did a comic like this, so it’s very much far from perfect, but I had a lot of fun doing it! Tldr on the background/lore is: When Dan left for the surface people thought he’d been kidnapped and later came to get him back (taking Kevin while they were at it). The rest of the disaster squad try to rescue them of course, but they end up running into some trouble in the form of Dan’s old friend Spiff.

So I’ve been brainrotting about my merfolk!lads AU and since I’m about to post the first fic of the fic series I’m planning with it, I decided I might as well post my rough design idea for Dan for this AU.

I haven’t drawn a sonic character in ten years. Might as well make this smug bastard the first one -_-

Sonic Irish Lads belongs to @justtrashperson​, I didn’t find the og post with Dan’s whole outfit until I was nearly done, so it’s probably got its inaccuracies, also I found no info on the colour scheme, so if this isn’t exactly what you imagined (which tbh it probably isn’t) just think of this as one of those Sonic OC that are obviously just an MSPaint recolour of an already existing character ;)
