ITS THE BOYS!!! BACK IN TOWN, BACK AGAIN! My design for Chas is finally done. He stands at a massive 6'6" and weighs over 200 lbs of pure Scottish beef!!! ramble below!

In my verse, John and Chas are childhood friends, meeting at the age of 13 and becoming inseparable since then. 'Dating' briefly (more unofficial than it sounds), on and off from age 16 to about 19. Chas had started getting serious about dating Renee during the events of Newcastle and missed everything by a hair, this caused Chas (who already had an undying loyalty to John for killing his abusive mother) to get even more protective when John was finally released from Ravenscar as he feels he owes him for not being there when John needed him most. Overall their relationship is kind of a weird symbiotic toxic codependency, with John as the dominant personality. John would never admit it, but Chas represents the closest thing he has to a firm connection to his humanity. He takes Chas for granted sometimes, knowing that no matter how badly he screws up, Chas will always come back. He cares deeply for Chas but feels he doesn't deserve that comfort at the same time... Chas, meanwhile, needs John to feel like he has a purpose. Without John, he's just a cabbie, a father, a grandfather, a husband...The thought terrifies him. I love thems <3

thinking abt johns time in ravenscar and how it shows how badly mentally ill people are treated and the sheer horror of him being sprung by a mob boss and begging to go back to ravenscar even tho they were like. literally torturing him there
