dexter and cupid and raven are so interesting me because they're all admiring things in the other that they themselves lack

dexter looks to raven because of her willingness to stand up to the status quo and to question authority. to challenge the norms and to be willing to write her own destiny.

raven looks to cupid because she doesn't ever hesitate to go for what she believes in. raven is plagued with self-doubt and guilt and regret and here comes cupid barreling her way through no matter what life throws her way.

cupid looks to dexter because he wears his heart so openly on his sleeve. he's brave to put himself out there and risk heartbreak and rejection when cupid can't say the same for herself.

Very ill about the fact that when Raven figured out Dexter wrote her a poem in True Hearts Day she was genuinely excited about it and wanted to tell him she liked it and called him sweet and cute but then didn’t tell him when she saw him with Cupid, and THEN Dexter was going to try and give Raven the heart and then Lizzie took them after Maddie took Raven off to cheer her up

And then Dexter and Raven never got together officially and never even got a kiss on the cheek or something, despite having a date and the fact they both clearly liked each other so much. Cupid switching lab partners despite the fact she liked Dexter, and trying her best to set the record straight with both of them. also also Cupid, Raven and Dexter should’ve just all dated methinks
