dexter and cupid and raven are so interesting me because they're all admiring things in the other that they themselves lack
dexter looks to raven because of her willingness to stand up to the status quo and to question authority. to challenge the norms and to be willing to write her own destiny.
raven looks to cupid because she doesn't ever hesitate to go for what she believes in. raven is plagued with self-doubt and guilt and regret and here comes cupid barreling her way through no matter what life throws her way.
cupid looks to dexter because he wears his heart so openly on his sleeve. he's brave to put himself out there and risk heartbreak and rejection when cupid can't say the same for herself.
