Filtration of the reaction products after pouring it on dilute ammonia.
According to other reports the compound should be a colorless, crystalline solid. But this bright blueish/purplish solid is not bad at all. The TLC (thin layer chromatographic) analysis shown that only traces of colored compound is next to my product, so as usual only less than a percent impurity causes this intense color. Good point: easy to purify and it looks great even during this step.
