I HAVE specified for Eddie before but I've actually leaned more towards him sounding like Harlan Ellison than Martin Short, whereas before I had it Flipped, mainly for his deadpan and snotty attitude lmao

EDIT: omg I'm so insane idk why I thought Reverend Smith was Val Kilmer, I think when I was rereading the posts trying to remember if I had a VC for Jon or not I got confused LMFAOOO

FOR JON I had Val Kilmer from Tombstone as his original VC but I always imagined his accent only really coming out when he's Scarecrowing it Up, so I've settled on RAY MCKINNON as Reverend Smith from Deadwood. Thank You Everyone for bearing with my lunacy

Because I find all of this analysis almost unbearably precious, I’d like to share Doc’s pages from Deadwood: Stories of the Black Hills, by David Milch. He’s mentioned in other places, but this is the bulk of it - the top sections are from Milch himself, and last page is Brad’s own interpretation. Because of the run-on nature of Milch’s thought processes, Doc’s lore bleeds into that of Reverand Smith (which turns to Hickok and continues from there, but as this is meant to be about Doc I had to draw a line lol)
