I managed to watch at least some of the MC Facebook chat today and there were some interesting things discussed:

- season 6 will premiere in September - we will see Emily Raydor again - there may be a possibility we will see Andy’s son and ex wife - Sharon and Andy will say ‘I love you’ - they will also get married in ep 5 (edited to ep 5, even earlier yay)

There was probably a lot more if anyone wants to add to this :)

After carefully examining that last gif set I reblogged I can say for ✅sure✅ the following things: - Provenza wishing Andy good luck means he knew about the Andy-Rusty-Gus classified proposal operation. - Andy's shoosh face to Provenza, followed up by a head tilt towards Andrea and her confused reaction means, Andy doesn't want Andrea to know because obviously she is BFFs with Sharon and may ruin the surprise. There's your confirm that Sharon and Andrea are BFFs, you're welcome ✅💃

Some thoughts on the latest MC ep, because I’m not as salty as I have been for most of the season - so that in itself is a freaking miracle...

I actually really enjoyed that episode, and I don’t think I’ve actually properly enjoyed an episode since some time in season 4.

I wasn’t expecting anything to be honest. I knew as soon as I read the blog that if something was going to happen between Andy and Sharon it would happen very briefly in the last few moments of the episode. I didn’t expect the event to be built up through the entire episode. It actually reminded me a lot of how they built up the tension in the ‘disturbing clarity’ episode. There were a lot of call backs to earlier moments with them which brought back some good memories, while also highlighting that the writers could also do a lot more.

When I finally saw the last scene and not just the gifs of it on twitter I was pleased to see how positive Sharon’s reaction was to his proposal. She seemed so over the moon at the gesture, and I just loved seeing her spoiled that way. I also enjoyed seeing how much Andy and Rusty’s relationship has grown over the seasons, but it does make me a little worried about what will happen with Ricky in the following episode. I hope he’s not there to simply start conflict. I hope if there is some conflict, it’s expressed an interesting way that explores Sharon’s decision making in regards to her family, and her wants and needs.

I also think this episode really did well at balancing several elements: it was a good lighter episode (they should do more of these tbh), great scenes between Julio and Mark, conflict between Winnie and Sharon, Provenza found someone he can relate too (so glad they didn’t go with a big name here, it wouldn’t have worked as well, and it would have just been a distraction), Rusty was actually useful and thoughtful (about time!), and Sharon and Andy were beyond sweet, and I actually have hope that they will follow it up in the next episode because the synopsis with Ricky appearing pretty much gave it away.

Just an FYI, but the ring conspiracy watch also happened in BSG, when Mary accidentally left her ring on during 'He that believeth in me'... all this has happened before, all this will blah blah blah... That said I'm still on team #wantstobelieve

I'd complain louder about Sharon/Andy only getting relationship development when one of them was facing death, but then the same thing happened with Adama/Roslin, so... All this has happened before, all this will happen again. If they set up some plastic pink flamingos on the lawn of their new house, y'all are fucked.
