Anyone else ever think about the two Elders that were friendly with Frankenstein and were good people who got consumed by Dark Spear as they tried to reign it in? No? Just me?
Although Dark Spear is resentment and hate and agony, I can't imagine these two would ever direct those feelings towards Frankenstein. When Frankenstein has his moments of despair over Dark Spear's creation, I like to think these two of the few friends he had wish to comfort him even if he can't feel them amongst all the other souls in Dark Spear.
The man I call Rayko, and the woman Albena. Rayko I envision as being the advisor of an emperor and that's how he could become part of the Union. He later recommends one of the emperor's daughters as another Elder - this daughter being Albena - as he knows her desire to shape the world is one that will benefit it greatly. It's also a way out from her fate of being married off for political gain. The two have a father-daughter like relationship.
