You know what's the next worst thing after a crazy ass party?

The after-party.

When you’re awake the whole time because you’re the girl who decided not to do anything, but after watching people take shots of vodka, punch, and weed, you just couldn’t watch anymore and ran off with your boyfriend.Then, you came back to  make sure your best friend wasn't getting raped by that random Indian kid or hadn't passed out in her own vomit. Then, after finding out that she'd been groped while she was drunk, you waited for everyone to sober up. Then, you hid the alcohol, cooked everyone pasta, made tea for yourself, cleaned up the cups, and locked yourself in her parents' bedroom to avoid her wasted older brother who kept calling you cute.

When people started belting out "My Heart Will Go On," you woke up.

Aforementioned older brother picked the lock and tried to jump into bed.

Then, you pulled a move and smacked him every time he tried to touch you.

When that didn’t work, you stayed with everybody else and didn't go to back to sleep for the rest of the night.

Then, you heated some microwavable Indian food and brewed some Jasmine tea.

After that, you begged your friend to take you home because it was 5:30 in the morning and you had swim team try-outs.

Then, you parted ways with everyone, and your best friend said you "handled yourself well."

At home, you’re tired as fuck and you freak out your mum by opening the garage door at six in the morning. Even though you were still tired, you told her everything and fell asleep for seven hours.

So, when you woke up, you tried to recuperate before try-outs while at the same time promised yourself that you’d never go to a party like that again.
