Ray Stevenson, the actor behind Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka, has passed away.

Ray Stevenson, star of Punisher: War Zone, the Thor movies and the actor behind Baylan Skoll upcoming first season of Ahsoka has passed away. He was 58. The news was revealed by Variety this afternoon. No details regarding the circumstances of his passing have yet been released. Stevenson began his career appearing on TV shows in the 1990s then began landing action roles in Hollywood films starting in the 2000s. His first major film role cam in Antoine Fuqua’s 2004’s adventure movie “King Arthur,” where he played Dagonet, one of the Knights of the Round Table. In the film, his character sacrifices himself in battle to help Arthur (Clive Owen) and his brotherhood of warriors. Concept to Film Series: Volstagg! I updated Volstagg's look in #ThortheDarkWorld The overall conceit from the director, Alan Taylor was to ground the designs a bit from the 1st film. I liked that direction and it gave the film an overall grit that was really cool. And now we have the 3rd Thor film just around the corner with a whole new take on the character. I love how we can see each different director give their unique spin on the same character. I like all 3 for different reasons. 4/5 if you count The Avengers films. Which portrayal did you like the best?
