so how are we all feeling about the ghost rider news?
I must apologize for the long absence. This last year has been.. rough. My step dad died unexpectedly, and then we found out my dad’s cancer returned, requiring radiation every single day for months. He’s still not in remission, but he’s doing alright.
On the positive side, I started a new job, found a great community of local friends, and started working on my Master’s degree. I reconnected with my first love; Greek Mythology, and introduced my kids to Epic the Musical. We even went to Troy’s concert and got my Hermes art signed!
This past year has made it incredibly difficult to exist, create art, or write. That’s just how it goes sometimes though. Life is going to life regardless of our creative desires. Thankfully, things are calming down so I will be able to draw beautiful things, write fluffy shenanigans, and be present in various projects again soon 🩵

I haven't written. Y own post in forever, but this is the only place I can think to rant about this stuff. Soooo here we go!
I was afab but have identified as trans masculine for ages and was even diagnosed with the old GID diagnoses before GD came around. I was on T for a long time years ago, but had to go off because of some issues with the uterus and ovaries which of course before I could have it looked further into I promptly load my insurance. I've always been irregular with my menstrual cycle and it's always been heaviy and more painful.
Fast forward a bit more I'm in the emergency room in so much pain. Turns out I have cyst I. My ovaries yay. I had never got back on T because when I lost my insurance it was because I lost my ability to work for a few years and I didn't have any way to get t or get help getting it. No one cares about an older not conventionally attractive trans person so it's not like reaching out and go funding like these kids do was an option. In this time my periods were also getting more irregular, painful, heavy. This is my now mid 30's
Fast forward again I'm now just turned 38 this month. Form my birthday my body gave me a period that been going on now for almost two months, pain, depression, heavy heavy bleeding, some anemia, and a trip to the doctor to get a referral to an obgyn. Thankfully at least now I have insurance again. I was going through a super plus tampon almost every hour thankfully that slowed down to now about every 3ish. Thank god for resusable pads y'all! I wasn't sure about them, they have saved my life too because I have to wear one to back up the tampon and the throw away ones hurt my skin. I'm tired all the time and it's making my job so much harder than it needs to be.
April I get to see the obgyn my doctor said a hysterectomy shouldn't be too hard to get approved thankfully! Not the only problem is that I just started this job, so I gotta wait at least another 6-7 months to have a year here. I'll need possibly up to 6 weeks off and that's a lot to ask in my field of work especially when I just started the job a few months ago.
So anyways I'll probably vent here now and again just to have an outlet. It's so frustrating to feel even more betrayed by this stupid body than I generally feel. It just exhausting and I'm finally late as it is getting my life together. I don't need this bs!
Has anyone else noticed that the symbol splayed on the ground beneath the victims in "In Memoriam"
Is the exact same symbol as the Fade map in Origins?
I'm sure it's just a fun callback, but wouldn't it be interesting if the symbols were somehow connected?
