Just because I got a positive reaction doesn’t mean I should be host. Do not make me host. Or frontstuck. Don’t.
Ravens Safety Pollard...Hitting Hard & Wanting Brady Fined
Ravens S Bernard Pollard has caused serious injuries to many of the Patriots' key players over the years (Brady, Welker, Gronkowski, and now Ridley). When he hits you, he means it. It almost hurts me watching it. That man is playing football the way it was meant to be played and I salute him for it...even if it means some of my favorite Pats players getting clobbered. The most recent hit he made was last night on RB Stevan Ridley during the AFC Championship Game. It was brutal and I don't blame Ridley for fumbling the ball.
Now, Pollard is wanting Brady fined for his foot-up slide against Ravens S Ed Reed. If I was Pollard, I wouldn't be speaking out and drawing any attention to plays that fines should be dished out for. He could very well be fined a large sum of money for the hits he makes if they are looked into by the National Football League.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons NFC Championship Game Review
While reminiscing over Championship Sunday, I collected many thoughts and emotions. In the whirlwind of the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers produced a comeback against the Atlanta Falcons. It was filled with many twists and turns, just as you might expect from a game in the National Football League. Going into the game, there was all the hype of San Fran's new leader at QB, Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick is a threat on the ground and through the air. He is tough for any team to gameplan. The Atlanta Falcons found that out the hard way on their home field with everyone watching. The Falcons came out of the gate at the NFC Championship Game red hot. With 17 unanswered points in the 1st half, everyone thought the "dirty birds" had full control of the game. Although, no one realized that the 49ers had a lot of "want to" left in them.
The 49ers got their first points on the board with a 15 yard touchdown run by rookie RB, LaMichael James. It was his first touchdown in the NFL. This was the first of many scores from the 49ers and the beginning of their comeback. Kaepernick and RB Frank Gore had full control of the game on the offensive side of the ball. Kaepernick was never rattled and remained "cool". The 49ers gained the lead for the first time in the game in the 4th quarter with a 9 yard touchdown run by Frank Gore. Kaepernick ended the day 16-21, 233 yards, and 1 TD. That was all he needed to win the game along with the power of the running backs and the stronghold of the defense.
On the last drive of the game, Matty Ice was down 4 points, and he and his offense had to get something done. That something, had to be a touchdown, but the Falcons failed to capitalize on their last attempt at winning the game and going to the Super Bowl. In the red zone, Ryan had the ball, dropped back to pass, but failed to see the open man in the end zone, legendary TE Tony Gonzalez. This unfortunately ended the game and the hopes of a Super Bowl win for the Atlanta Falcons. Although, it was definitely an accomplishment for the Falcons to make it to the NFC Championship Game. At least now they have won a playoff game and have gotten that out of the way.
Matt Ryan ended the day 30-42, 396 yards, and 3 TD. On many of his throws, he resembled QB Tom Brady. Not only were his short passes to TE Tony Gonzalez similar, but both QB's days ended with the same exact outcome...they went home.
All I can say is that the Atlanta Falcons are going to have to learn to keep their heads in the game the whole way through and not just be incredibly pumped through the 1st half. The NFC Championship Game was the perfect example of how the dirty birds don't keep their eyes on the prize for 60 minutes.
