I’m so happy with this!
Drew this guy after I saw a few similar on Pinterest. I don’t know the original artist.
I made some prints on postcards for a friend. Maybe she’ll send you one if you’re one of her favorites!
The second raccoon… not good. But here it is.
This is the 10th raccoon in my series, done from a reference photo off of Pinterest, of course i couldn’t figure out how to find where the original photo came from, i guess Pinterest sucks now?
I used a red pencil to sketch out before inking this time.

I started drawing some raccoons. All in ink right now.
I want to get quicker and more loose. I want to improve my line work and have a less sketchy feel. And I want to be confident in drawing raccoons from memory.
This is the third one, and I like it. The first two were garbage and I’ll probably pay them later anyway. I have in the past done water color raccoons and I really want to love my style away from that feel. I like the watercolor, but I’ve never really felt like the store was important to me. I don’t really know how to explain it. Anyway, here is a raccoon.
Three more raccoons doodled on a scrap paper. Not in my little notebook, but pretty good. The first is done from imagination, the other two are from reference photos from Pinterest.
Linocut print with watercolor.
The inked block looks good too!
