rude
I can never understand the audacity of certain people. Did their parents/guardians never teach them, 'if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all?' its called respect, and I'm talking about a major lack of it in todays society.
I get that I'm not the sweetest person and I am very quick to have a retort to somebody's comments. However, there are certain people in todays society that feel the need to voice their opinions when it is just not needed. It's one thing to have an opinion that is valid and adds to a conversation. It's another to have an opinion that is irrelevant, offensive, and down right rude, yet still voice it in a manner of which the people they are voicing it to become hurt and offended. There is a time and a place for everything. There is no need to knock others down simply because you do not agree. Sometimes people should learn to bite their tongue and just NOT say anything. Sometimes you are better off keeping your mouth shut and letting somebody learn for themselves. Now i know many people might think that this is a feeble minded way to act, however I disagree. It is respect for those around you. Everybody has feelings, and we need to be more aware of that these days. Especially with the increased amount of bullying or awareness of bullying in society these days. If you decide to personally attack somebody because you disagree with what they are saying, then you are stooping to a level of which is unnecessary. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, whether you agree with them or not. That being said, there is a time and a place like i said before. For example, If i like cheese and you don't, simply state you disagree, there's no need to retort with a rude and disrespectful comment like, "you hate cheese? you are a loser, thats so stupid." I just cannot fathom some peoples ignorance to the feelings of others. It is astounding to see that in a society that has become so advanced, our ways of interacting have not.
That's my rant, that is all. I hope some of you can see where I'm coming from, and for the rest, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.
