I have a feeling that Voice of God path is related to Shepha and Whisper of the Devil is related to Shephamalum. It's already somewhat there in the name.
And if I'm not wrong according to HS1 Shepha created the light and angels and Shephamalum created the darkness and the demons. Later, Shephamalum created humans so they would worship him and make him more powerful than Shepha. The humans ended up worshipping Shepha because he was kind to them, which tipped the balance in Shepha’s favor and he imprisoned Shephamalum in the dungeon where Malbonte later stayed.
They say the book of apocalypse was written by Shepha and I feel depending on the path HSR MC takes, it's the energy of either brothers directing her to translate it.
The energy that MC exhibits is also different on each path, Mind Control on Whisper of the Devil and Strength on Voice of God path which to me seems similar to Shephamalum granting part of his powers to Malbonte.
I'm pretty sure MC is not human, or is partly human. Cain remembers her from before and seemed to want her to have her memory back, that along with her abilities makes it very likely that she's immortal deviant of some sort. I wouldn't be surprised if Lane turns out to be one of Malbonte and Vicky's descendants.
Also the order could be the same one from HS2 that the immortals like Rebecca and Eragon created to combat the horsemen. The humans did have that knowledge since Hunger let them in on their secrets.

Raphael didn't want this to go this far. Him chasing that man was not on his aspiration list but a man has to do s he must do.
Three days before the slaughter
Raphael was walking towards home alone because David and Cassiel had to stay at Milky Lane for a case and that Mikael was still in a meeting with the superiors. He could ask Fel for company because she had a job.
So he was unfortunately home alone. Which will make a certain someone happy.
He walked in, took off his shoes and walked towards his room and that's when he heard *him.
"You have been avoiding me."
"I wasn't in the mood to talk to ..."
"You dare to disobey me?"
"Sorry father.."
"Raphael, I'm home!"
Raphael was brought back to Earth by Mikael's arrival, much to his pleasure because he doesn't know how much longer can he go without snapping at him.
"Are you okay?"asked Mikael.
"No, my head hurts."he replied sarcastically.
Mikael raised his eyebrow, "Was it that bad?"
Raphael did not want to answer, angry at the fact that Shepha would visit him, remind him of his purpose and he hated that.
One day before the slaughter
Raphael was pissed off.
Shepa visited him more times than the shots David would force him to drink. "It calms the voices."he'd said. They didn't stop the onslaught assault that Shepha gave to him.
"Damn fool! Socializing with that demon! Thinking that drinking would make me go mute?"he sneered.
"No..."
A sharp pain in his head made him drop to his knees and grab his hair.
"I am you father Raphael and you will fulfill your purpose just like the others."
Raphael was breathing heavily and his hands made way to his neck, trying to choke himself.
"No Raphael I will not let you to kill yourself."
Raphael felt himself fade away, catching concerned voices from David, Mikael and Cassiel.
The Day of the Slaughter
Raphael was mad.
Everyone could sense his madness, Mikael suggested that he should compose a piece, while David quipped about going to a range room while Cas and Fel said that the garden would provide some comfort.
They seem very good suggestions but Raphael had already thought of a forbidden idea. He made sure that the others can't access his thoughts and decided to do one thing that no Angel had thought of.
Murdering Shepha, his creator.
It was plain and simple.
Raphael went to a tailor to wear the most fashionable suit. Black with gold and white embroidered lines that reminded him of the vines at the garden, the vines that surrounded the statue of Astrea herself.
The suit fitted him like a glove and flew away to the one place he knew that he would find Shepha, with a sycthe in his hand.
"Raphael what brings you here?"
"I thought you said you're my father? You are what mortals call God. Surely you can tell my intentions."
"Is that so?"
"I'm fulling your destiny."
"Raphael I know you don't have it in you to do it."
"Well at least it would lessen the misery of being killed by a horseman."
Raphael took out his sycthe, the blade gleaming at the light of their area.
"You don't have the intention."
Raphael walked towards Shepha and swung the scythe at him, stabbing him at his chest, a streak of white bleed .
Shepha raised his head , not believing that one if his golden children was trying to kill him.
Raphael decided to give his sycthe a little boost, turning it to a golden weapon, and decided to finish him. One way or another.
The scythe finally reached Shepha's head , immediately beheading him and Raphael decided to blow his head.
Boom.
Blood could be seen on his face.
That voice is gone.
Raphael felt a strange relief. That annoying voice that reminded him of his destiny is gone.Right now he's waiting to fulfill it, maybe on his own terms. Little did he know that the fates would be cruel to him.
Episode 2 was better then episode 1. As usual and Raphael and Mikael got daddy issues. Like even if i was not spoiled on the whole angel demon thing. I think having Raphael pray someone doesn't die and everyone is like "Oh he is talking to his dad" should be a big enough flag.
Which makes it funny too btw cause Shepha got his head cut off, like for once he is not going to milk store and ignoring everyone he is legit dead. Good riddance. Imagine yout kids are so used to not talk to you that nobody realises you are dead.
