Another Web Series Suggestion to the Internet at Large

Someone please adapt Lorna Doone by R.D. Blackmore.  Still making my way through this one, but it would be such an interesting adaptation!

-John Ridd: humble, hulking farmer whose father was killed by the Doones.

-Lorna Doone: beautiful (obviously) “queen” of the Doone clan.  Sweet and gentle, despite her violent surroundings.

Naturally, they fall in love.  It’s sort of 1680s Romeo and Juliet without the Shakespeare or (I hope) tragic ending.

Get on it, internet.
