You seem to be the Sean person of tumblr, I’m coming up with a AU we’re a couple of the gangs modern decedents are taken back to 1899 and meet their ancestors(the gang) how do you think Sean would react or treat a modern day family member? I don’t have much of a idea myself to be honest 😭

Honestly, my main thought is just how much Sean appreciates family. If this is a descendant of his, I can fully see him being ecstatic once the general shock, disbelief, and questioning wears off. Wanting to know how they're connected, if they can figure it out, what life is like for this person, etc etc. If his descendant is from/living in Ireland, I can see that being a point of conversation, esp with everything that happened in Ireland in the century after Sean's canon death, he's a curious guy who misses his home, and isn't afraid to ask questions! I also think Sean would want to pass on the memory of Darragh, his father and the legacy left by him, etc., that would probably be important to him, he'd want to share those stories if he could.
Sean is generally a people person, he's fun and easy, and he loves to love, I'd def play on that! You can also play on Sean's off-color jokes, and his tendency to be a little bit of an asshole, whether that's something his modern descendant would find funny or off-putting, if you want to add more to the dynamic beyond Sean being his jovial self. But in general Sean is a clown, within the gang he functions as a social glue and lubricant, and I can definitely see him be someone who'd be intrigued and excited by the idea of descendants from the future, and possibly making it something that's easier for the rest to accept as well, on both the side of gang-members and descendants alike.
