I love the Street fighter vibe but it's Resident Evil characters

Me trying to tell someone about RE9 antagonists and bosses without spoilers:

Im not redowloading re2r until im done with re9 so no direct model viewer comparisons BUT I questioned whether the chipped ear was like. Purposeful or Just There, but its lack of inclusion on Jr solidifies it as a an a) design choice in my head and b) that it is specific to X and not just a product of the cloning process.

Also Jr is just.. slightly different. I do need to get a good head-on picture of both Jr and X so I can see just exactly what the differences are but Jr immediately does not strike me as looking the exact same as X, and I've stared long enough at X to get that gut feeling...

Jr has less grooves along his chin, which do not come down off of his lips like X, for starters. On top of the inclusion of visible veins which you cant see with X. The Eyes are obviously different, with Jr having very bloodshot eyes while X just has dark scleras. Jr's nose is also very smooth, with X having a lot more grooves going across it. The circle pattern of the grooves is present in Jr's design, but X has a far more defined pattern, while it looks like Jr has more grooves with less definition.. (? Could be a lighting thing though, but with the complete lack of them on his nose i do think thats what they intended.) Finally, Jr's pattern seems to go straight down from the bottom eyelids, as opposed to X's which circle his cheeks a bit and seem to originate more from his nose.

From a technical point, I do not think Jr is any sort of reused asset. He looks like a new sculpt. Unfortunately animations are reused but they reused X's anims for the big cheese of all things so I expected that. Also unfortunate is that Jr appears for such a short period its hard to see all of his anims, but I think thinkkkk he might have different finishers than X? More research needed on that.

Prompt 8: BETRAYAL

I feel like this moment held more significance than Ada's usual defiance and betrayal of certain clientele and fucking Leon over and over again because hers is expected with the way her character was written. (love her btw she's complex beyond that and the ships she gets put in and people need to see that.)

but!! S.T.A.R.S wouldn't have known Wesker was involved with X-day if they didn't outright find out in Arklay and so on with the events that followed. So that was more of a shocker in on itself because the team came to trust their Captain to lead them but never thought he'd lead them to their deaths.
