Happy Valentine's day my bickering duo."My Sheila". My roman empire. It is saddening that the fandom is pretty much dead . Every Ayapin post is mostly up to 2018 . I'm very late to this fandom. I'm also very late to Tumblr I believe. I wish I could meet all the people who love this ship. 2024 release of the anime made me aware of it's existence and I became a fan. A supporting character's story was very impactful and bittersweet. But I loved it very much. I read it all at once. So I can't truly relate how every other person had to wait for days weeks ,months or years for this ship's update. But trust me I still feel very empty, desperate and frustrated . I don't have enough people to chat about this with. Most people won't even agree with me. But the way Pin and Ayane is written is very intelligent of the writer I believe. They always had childish bickering and gave us comedic moments. It's painful and tragic when the realization happens that no matter how much you like their moments, shipping them is considered problematic. It is also beautiful that Pin who is always unserious about everything becomes the mature one while dealing with a sensitive issue like this. He gently rejects Ayane but he also waits a whole day for her and remembered giving her eraser. He also gives her encouragement. It is named "reaching you" and it can be applied to everyone in the story. Probably Pin also goes through some character developments and we can see a caring, sweet side of him. Pin is sweet with Sawako too but it is different with Ayane. The irony that Ayane is always forced to be mature in her friend group and Pin is the immature one but when they cross each other's paths their roles are reversed. Pin brings out her youthful childishness and Ayane makes him a mature thoughtful person. The fact that most people misunderstand Ayane is really sad. Most people judge her due to her appearances and she has been a victim several times. Pin has knowingly unknowingly protected Ayane several times. He also never took advantage of a vulnerable person . Pin always saw Ayane as a person unlike others who lusted after her.Pin respected her. It is fascinating seeing someone like Pin who behaves like a pervert mostly to be a different person when it comes to Ayane. He was clear about not liking someone young and but you can see that his feelings are very much pure and genuine. It is based on kindness, admiration and respect.I hope they end up together in the future.
