Hello bookish bees! 💖 A while ago I asked you guys what kind of bookish event you’d love to take part in - the answer was overwhelmingly in the favour of a read-a-thon!
So, without further ado, I present to you The Cookie Read-a-Thon! (2nd edition 😂) It will take place for 10 days, between February 23rd and March 4th (I figured that this way it will give people more time to get some reading done, alongside work and school and all that crap). We’ll each start and end on our own time zones, so when midnight hits on February 23rd (incidentally, my half-birthday lol), you’re free to start reading! 😊
We’ll be using the tag #readacookie, so make sure you tag all your posts so we can find each other and have fun together!
I also put together a kind of challenge - the prompts are for every other day during the read-a-thon, and you can interpret them however you want, through photos or just a post discussing them 😊 They’re the same prompts as last time, basically. Also, they’re not compulsory, so you can choose not to do them, but still participate in the read-a-thon.
I really, really hope a lot of you take part in this. I have always loved participating in read-a-thons, because they encouraged and pushed me to read more and they were always great in helping me get back on track with my Goodreads challenge.
So please, spread the word as much as possible and see you all on February 23rd!
