Masterlist
~ There was an obvious need simmering under his stare, the man standing before you both was promising something you couldn’t even say you were sure you could keep up with, but the hammering in your chest and the butterflies in your stomach both told you that you were ready and willing to take it on. ~
Sam excused himself while you were flushed crimson, allowing Dean some time for a bit more aftercare and the shower you both found yourself tangled in just an hour later. By the time you left your bedroom, you smelled of Dean’s alpine body wash mixed with your favorite Bath and Bodyworks spray while crimson love bites bloomed across your throat and shoulder. Dean’s mission had been to obscure the ugly fingerprints left behind, while making a bold and clear statement upon your later return to the bar.
You liked the way yours and Dean’s scents seemed to marry into one, and bit your lip wondering what you’d smell like after a morning like that with Sammy… You flitted down the back staircase, your dishes in tow, and turned directly into the solid tower of a man you were wondering about.
Sammy moved quickly, catching the tray and contents while maneuvering to catch you up against the pantry door. You gasped in surprise before flushing red again, “I- I’m so sorry! I wasn’t paying attention; did I break anything?” You worried and reached for the tray in Sammy’s hands. He only moved the tray to one hand while the other ghosted over your hip.
“I’m okay, are you?? You’re not hurt, are you?” He asked intently, eyes flickering to your lips and back to your eyes, “You gotta be more careful Princess…” he murmured softly. Your heart galloped at the endearment, and you bit your lip as you felt your entire body react to this man. What was it the Winchesters held over you? Were they gods?!?
“I will.” You squeaked out. Sam smiled slightly then, seeming to be pleased with your reply, before moving his hand to your face and dipping his head down to ghost his lips across yours. Having him so close had memories of the night prior flooding your mind, his bergamot and spice scent engulfing you. You licked your lips, only hesitating a millisecond, before you stood up just a bit more on your tip toes and pressed your lips to his.
The groan that rumbled through his chest told you all you needed to know. Sam has been holding back… giving you space… You heard the tray clatter a bit as Sam pushed it on the sideboard in the hall before framing your face with both hands and deepening the kiss.
His teeth nibbled at your bottom lip, tongue teasing and asking for more. Your sigh was almost breathed in by him, as he pressed you against the pantry door and took from you what was his. Your fingers laced up along the nape of his neck before you mewled into his mouth as Sammy ground his hips into you before breaking from your lips but staying close.
“Why is it so hard to think around you…?” He asked curiously, “Princess, I haven’t slept I’ve been thinking so much about you… I was so scared you were going to be gone today…” His ability to be vulnerable with you was always something you adored in Sammy, and now- those puppy dog eyes broke your heart.
“I’d never just up and leave… I just needed some time to think…” You murmured, “It helped having Dean fill in the blanks though.” You smiled and he chuckled,
“I’m sure he filled in a lot for you.” He grinned wickedly and kissed your forehead when you smacked his arm. “No really- Dean’s always been better about feelings and… words. I should have just been honest with you last night before ever moving to the bedroom… I’m sorry Y/N…”
You ran your fingers through Sam’s hair, tucking it behind his ear and smiling, “Thank you for apologizing, it was so confusing last night…” You admitted quietly, “I felt like the butt of a bad joke honestly…” Sam’s face dropped a bit and he looked ashamed,
“I could never make you feel like that… You will and always will be my Princess… Spoiled, but a princess none the less.” He winked and kissed you once more on the lips gently before stepping back to let you balance on your own feet again.
Sammy was helpful with dishes and prepping lunch, his hands only wandering in passing, lips grazing your bare shoulder as he unnecessarily reached over you to put away things. The man was teasing you to no end, but the prodding member that grazed your bottom when he leaned up against you assured that the torment was not one-sided. You wriggled your hips against him and smiled back at the soft hiss that came from his lips.
“Be careful baby… I wanna make our first time together special, but I’m not partial to bending you over on the kitchen island right here…” He smirked at you when you bit your lip and flushed red hot. The crimson climbed down your throat and bloomed across your breasts and shoulders. Sammy chuckled at your reaction before stepping back some when he twitched needily against you.
After lunch, you found yourself with nothing to do, Dean elbows deep in some junker car Bobby kept on the side of the house, and Sammy busy in the back yard tackling whatever moved in under the deck. You eyed both men from your spot under the corner of the deck itself and decided both tasks were above your pay-grade. There was no way you were going to accidentally break something in that old thing, and there was an even lesser possibility you were crawling under this deck to whatever momma possum was soon to choose Sammy as the enemy.
You decided to go back in the house, grabbing your Bluetooth speaker, a bucket with rags and cleaners, and the broom and mop, before heading up to the top floor. The boys both knew your routine: start at the top of the house and work your way down. You knew the bathrooms needed attention, along with the additional spare bedroom upstairs. It was dusty, and there was no guessing if it would ever be needed, but your allergies were going to never forgive you if Dean turned that furnace on in a couple more weeks and that space hadn’t been dusted in time.
All too soon, you found yourself singing along to your playlist of choice and cleaning room to room. By the time you found your way through the guest room and your room, you heard Sam holler Dean’s name and the thuds of a very large man stuck under a deck with a very angry animal. You sighed and looked out the hall window down to the back yard.
Dean was sprinting across the yard to where Sam’s feet were hanging out the side of the deck kicking. He cursed, grabbed Sam’s feet, and yanked him free. Sammy’s hair was a mess, and you could tell from here he would need the first aid kit when he came in. You chuckled and sighed to yourself softly and gathered up your cleaning stuff and placing it in front of Dean’s bedroom door in the hall before stopping to grab said first aid kit under the bathroom sink and heading back downstairs.
You heard Dean laugh and mention calling Animal Control, while Sam admitted defeat, his voice trailing to the hall leading to his own bedroom. You padded down the stairs, smiling at a busy Dean on hold while his eyes crinkled at the sight of you with the kit. You pointed to Sam’s room, and he nodded, understanding what you were saying, before you continued. Sam had the master bed and bath (it was the only one large enough to fit his massive bed set, the BFG he was) and when you stepped in his bedroom, you could hear the shower running. The bathroom door was left open, and a clear silhouette of a very naked and wet Sam could be seen through the frosty glass of the shower door. Your mouth went dry as you realized, again, how amazingly stunning this man was, before clearing your throat to announce your arrival and knocking on the open bathroom door.
“Hey- it’s just me…” You called out, smiling weakly at Sam when he peeked over the glass door, “I thought you might have a bite or two you needed taken care of when you’re done.” You grinned a bit and Sam chuckled and shook his head.
“That momma possum was not messing around.” He laughed, “Thank you, Princess… I’m almost done, wait for me?” He asked. You nodded before finding your voice,
“Y-yeah, I can wait.” You answered awkwardly. There was something about Sammy that always turned you back into some fumbling schoolgirl with a crush and it was agonizing. Although Sam seemed to enjoy it, you wished you carried more alluring poise rather than fumbling cuteness…
“Where were you off to? I realized you weren’t in the back when I got out.” He spoke up, dragging you from your thoughts.
“Oh- I was cleaning upstairs. There’s no way I was helping with wild animals.” You teased back at him.
“Ah yes, Vampires are no problem, but Y/N draws the line at the territorial neighborhood possum.” His brow quirked and he laughed at your reaction. You scoffed and feigned offense before sitting back on the sink counter,
“Well, clearly my choice to not engage was much the wise.” You said loftily and stuck your nose in the air. The shower cut off and your head whipped back to Sam. The involuntary reaction you had to him standing there, naked, in front of you was sinful. Sam smirked and grabbed the towel hanging next to him and let you stare as he dried in front of you.
“Come here, Princess.” He commanded softly.
It was as if you had no control of yourself, as you hopped off the counter and walked directly towards him. You weren’t feeling out of control, but the rush of euphoria you got at his satisfied smirk made you desperate for him to command you again.
“You listen so well…” He smiled and dropped his towel to hold your plush hips. “Do you like to listen?” He asked, his voice a murmur for only the two of you to hear. You nodded, eye contact never breaking, “Words, baby girl.” He coaxed gently.
“Y-yes…” you shy and bite your lip. He smiled and dipped his head down to kiss you deeply, hands moving across your hips and up under your tank top.
“Can I take this off?” you nodded again at him, “Words baby…” he teased and nuzzled your neck, dripping water from his hair down your shoulder.
“Yes, you may.” You squeaked out and gasped as Sammy moved his fingers up your bare skin, nibbling at your throat, before stepping back and pulling your top off carefully. His eyes roved over your body, making you shy more and blush for him.
Sam continued to carefully take off each piece of clothing while his fingers and lips worshiped your skin, never breaking contact for longer than was needed to undress you. Once you were in nothing but your panties, Sammy led you to his bedroom, flipping the bathroom light back off. The blackout drapes were pulled tightly over the windows in his room, leaving an almost intimate silence from the rest of the world around the pair of you two. You pulled Sam back to your lips as you dragged him into his bed, thighs wide to pull him closer as your fingers laced again in his hair.
Sam was eager and easily framed your body as he held himself over you, nibbling and kissing every inch of skin his lips could find while he never stopped gently rutting against your covered core. Everything about this man felt huge against you, and it was all you could do to not climax from friction alone.
You moaned softly when Sam took his attention to your breasts and easily took a nipple in his mouth, his large hand cupping the supple soft excess as your hips tilted up towards his.
“Please…” you begged, pulling his attention back to your face, eyes locking with yours, “Please Sammy…”
Sam groaned and crashed his lips into yours while his hand moved down your hips and gripped the band to your panties. He only broke his touch to sit back and pull them down your legs and stare down at you hungrily only a moment before crawling back up to your lips and finding them with his.
“Anything you don’t like, anything hurts, you tell me. You tell me and I promise to stop immediately.” He murmured gently, making sure you understand that you can stop this at any point.
“Yes sir…” You tease and you watch his gaze darken with need.
“Princess, be careful.” He groaned while his hand moved between the two of you and teased your wet folds with his thumb, “Look how wet you are for me…” he murmured, more to himself than to you. As he lined himself up to your core, he watched you carefully as he slowly pressed his girth into you.
Your eyes widened at the sheer size, and you moan softly as Sam’s thumb finds its way back to your bud, drawing small circles as he worked his way into you, brows scrunched in concentration.
Where you thought you’d be sore, your body only openly accepted him. He groaned again as he worked the final length into you, your core warm and tight around him.
“Fuck princess, fuck…” Sam cursed and kissed you softly before carefully pulling his length out and swiftly impaling you again. The moan that escaped from your lips was pure bliss to Sam’s ears. You clung to Sam’s shoulders as he continued to tease you while he carried slow, methodical thrusts into you.
“Please Sammy…” You moaned again, pressing your hips up against him, “Please…”
“Please what, baby? Tell me what you need.” He coaxed, his hips never stuttering, even while your walls fluttered as your climax ebbed closer and closer.
You moaned in frustration, him stopping you from making him move any faster, “Please fuck me hard… I want to cum so bad, please Sammy…” You begged and mewled as your legs shook while his thumb pressed down more on your sensitive bud and rolled the wet mess.
“Sound so sexy begging for my cock, Princess…” He moaned praise as his hips thrust deeper, the pace slowly picking up to match his thumb. His hair hung damp along his face, draping the world around you both as his eyes roved over your body, watching you swallow his girth so well.
You felt the tell-tale pressure in your belly of a climax finally coming to fruition, back arching as your walls clenched down on him as wave over wave washed through your body. Sam groaned loudly and moved the hand teasing you, to pull your leg up, hooking your foot on his shoulder and picking up the pace to fuck himself into you, hard.
You were a babbling mess, clinging to the sheets around your head, as Sam panted, lost in this moment with you. “So fuckin’ beautiful,” he groaned while looking down upon the mess he’d made of you under him and grabbed the headboard for leverage, “Shit- Princess tell me where...” He muttered urgently.
“Wherever you want Sammy,” you panted and moaned, enjoying the angle he hit your spot. Sam cursed softly and pulled out the last millisecond, covering your mound in his cum. You watched with a pleased look on your face and wiggled your hips back up when you saw the look on his face fighting pressing his still hard member into the mess.
Sam kissed you deeply, ignoring the fact that he could continue if he wanted, choosing to pay attention to you instead. His kisses littered down your throat, darkening marks from Dean as he went, before stopping and looking down over you.
“Never in my life did I think I’d get to see you like this.” He murmured bemused.
“Naked and well fucked?” You teased with a wink.
He chuckled at you and shook his head, “That, yes, but so much more… I never thought I’d get to see you like this because of me.” He admitted.
This tore your heart. Both boys denied themselves something so simple, and for what? Your dignity? Your internal voice scoffed to itself. No... This man before you and his brother would never feel that way again… Not if you had anything to do about it.

Ao3 Link Chapter 2
Summery:
You got ready for a normal day of duck hunting, what you weren't prepared for was shooting a Mythological creature out of the sky. Were you even prepared for Cupids Arrow when you went to assist that Creature you've injured. You start to learn there is more than just Humans in the world.
Chapter One:
You woke up in your cottage in your soft bed, you made yourself stuffing it full of chicken and duck feathers when you managed to have a successful hunt. Goose would be more ideal but those didn’t flock towards your area of the woods often.
You helped yourself to some homemade bread and peach jam to get your day going. You grabbed your longbow and a quiver of Nichirin arrows you bought from the local smith. It was an expensive purchase, but the arrow points lasted a lot longer than Flint or stone. Assuming you can find the said arrows again you can reuse them. Which if you hit your target, you recollect them often.
And you haven’t lost a single one yet.
Perhaps one day you should travel to the River and see about doing some fishing. Maybe one day hunting a deer. But that would be a lot of meat for one person. A lot of meat to preserve, salt, hide to tan…Maybe you could bring it to the Butcher, and offer him the deer assuming you got a decent portion, maybe a quarter of the deer? Yes that would be enough to last you a while.
You however settled for hunting ducks again. Maybe a rabbit as well. Taking your bow in your hand, you kept your eyes to the sky. Finding a white feathered body in the air, you got out your bow, and aimed it, first at the bird, to gauge if it would be changing directions soon, which it seemed to head south. Aiming ahead of its flight, you let loose the arrow. The arrow itself disappeared, and eventually you saw the duck fall out of the air.
“YES!” you grinned, jumping in joy, as you ran off to the direction it fell, looking for the body, which in an open field of flowers wasn’t too difficult. Regardless, if you never missed your shot you were super excited to land it every time. You kneeled down to the Duck’s body, and gave a small prayer, “I hope it was quick, and that you didn’t suffer. May you be reborn in a peaceful life away from Hunters.” you tied the wings to the duck and tied it to your belt so that you wouldn’t lose it
The hunt wasn’t over yet. Glancing back up at the sky, you saw a larger bird, which seemed to trail smoke? You frowned in thought, trying to think of what it could be. Regardless, it seemed to be a decent sized bird. You’d be able to eat well for a few days with it. You reached to aim your bow, just ahead of the trajectory of the bird's flight.
You let go of the arrow.
The arrow disappeared.
You saw the bird’s flight falter, as it came crashing down to the earth, behind some woods.
The ground shook, and caused you to startle.
An unusual situation all around, you didn’t even celebrate your catch. Putting your bow over your Quiver, you ran off to the direction where you saw smoke above the trees.
Did you shoot a duck that was on fire? How was it still alive? Why did it shake the ground like that?
Pushing past brush, and branches, you came to a small crater area, gasping when you saw not a bird, but not a human.
It seemed to be between a bird and a human. Hair flared out, with golden tresses, and red tips. Your arrow is secured in its wing. His chest was bare, from his hips down were golden red tipped feathers matching his hair, with giant bird feet.
He was Massive.
Did you just shoot a God out of the Air?!
You jumped into the crater, and rushed to him, You knelt behind his head to avoid hurting his wings anymore than you could. Shakily you reached over and brushed his bangs out of his face. You whipped your hand away. “Shit, you’re burning up!”
You ripped off a piece of your shirt, and brought forth your gourd of water from your belt, dampening the cloth, you laid it on the man's forehead. You watched as steam rose from the cloth.
Well finding a Birdman was far from normal, what would be steam? You shook your head thinking of it. You could see his chest rising and falling. You felt a sharp pain in your ass, which made you yelp. You felt behind you but there was nothing. Shaking your head, you went to tap him on the cheek lightly, “Hey, wake up, please I’m so sorry! But I can’t carry you back to my cottage, you gotta try to wake up!” His eyes fluttered open and you felt your heart skip a beat at his sunset eyes. They fluttered back shut. Tears swelled up in his eyes, and you leaned forward to wipe them away with the wet cloth. “Please, we gotta get you to a better environment. Your…wing needs treatment.”
His eyes shot open at that, staring at you almost as if in fear. He sat up to shift away from you, only to feel his wings in pain.
You shook your head, “I am sorry for shooting you, I…thought you were just a big bird.” you bowed deeply to the man. “Please allow me to help mend your wounds. You can kill me afterwards if it pleases you. But please, allow me to atone for what I’ve done to you.”
The man trembled slightly, but examined you thoroughly. You seemed to be a human female, average height, chubby, but he could also see the muscle build on your arms from your bow. The duck to your side proving you were hunting birds. However, beyond the arrow, you had no strength to actually attack him. He couldn’t sense any lie to what you said. But he also remembered that humans were not to be trusted. He looked down to himself, realizing he was stuck between shifting. He would have to stay in this form to heal up.
“Please…I’m sorry…I don’t live that far, and I live alone, no one around for at least a kilometer. In case you’re worried about other people.”
He looked back up at you with a tilted head. Not all humans were bad, right? He grunted in response. “Alright…you can tend to my wings…” He said softly but at the same time, his voice seemed to carry weight.
You released a breath you didn’t know you held. Not to mention his voice made your heart skip a beat again. “Can…can you stand? I’d help you up, but you’re burning up, that I don’t think I have the strength to help you to my house.”
Looking at your form, he couldn’t help but imagine the ways you would try to carry his form. One arm over your shoulder dragging his body, somehow tugging him by the arms while on his belly. An attempt at picking him up as a bride made him snort, causing you to look at him confused. “While I’d love to see you try to help, I think I can stand on my own.”
You watched as he flinched, reaching for bracing himself with a knee, before going to stand. He wobbled. “Um…if it helps you can brace your hand with my head? Once we get out of the crater that is.”
He blinked at the thought, before he barked out laughing. “You’re a funny Human. No, I just need to get used to this form…” he climbed out of the crater, and reached a hand down to help you up, ending up tossing you into the air causing you to shriek. He felt a small sting in his ass, however thought nothing of it. He caught you in his arms with a grin. “My back and wings hurt, but I can still carry you. Where do you live?”
You blushed heavily, and whined, “Put me down please!” his eyes glittered with mischief as he gingerly placed you back onto the ground. You weren’t short by any means, but the man did have at least three feet more than you. You shook your head, and looked at the sky, before giving him a small bow, “Please follow me.”
“Right!” he boisterously exclaimed. He followed you, allowing his eyes to shoot all around the surroundings. Finally landing on your being, his eyes narrowed on the arrows in particular. He flexed his wing hissing a little before reaching to pull the arrow out of it, and he examined it. “Are you sure you were just hunting birds?” he looked at the arrowhead and grimaced.
You looked at him with a concerned look, “Yes.”
“Nichirin…isn’t an easy thing to come by.” his eyes locked onto yours for a moment, before you looked back a head. “Being hit with it is going to slow down my healing as well.”
You furrowed your brows leading him through the open field before going back to the woods, leading him back to your house. You shook your head, “I didn’t know that. I know that Nichirin lasts longer than most other metals, and is easier to recover from a successful hunt.” The larger birdman gave you a once over again as he twirled the arrow in his fingers. Once you got to your cabin, you cursed yourself, realizing the issue. The door was too small for the man. “I’m so sorry! I wasn’t thinking about the door being an issue!”
Birdman gave an amused look, “Don’t worry I’ll fit.” You only nodded in response, opening the door for him. Being cautious of his wings, he shrank his size to being just taller by a few inches than you. He folded his wings with a hiss and walked through the door.
You blinked trying to collect your wits about you. “Um, I don’t have much furniture, I apologize, please sit wherever you feel comfortable. Would you like some tea?” his eyes widened in wonder as he shook his head. “Oh, where are my manners? My name is (Last name) (Name).” you went about to get things you needed to help patch him up.
Birdman tilted his head, “You should be more cautious about giving your name out! Luckily I’m not a Fae!”
You popped your head back into the room with an arm full of bandages. “Huh? How so?” you looked back at him full of curiosity, “Wait, Fae? They exist?”
He furrowed his brow. “Of course!”
“Huh…” You muttered, “Are…you a Harpy?”
His head shot up. Did you truly not know what he was? “I’m a Phoenix!”
“A…Phoenix?” You questioned credulously. “I…didn’t know they existed either….sorry…”
He only grinned in response, “Just means we’re doing our job at hiding well! Well….almost…” he pointed to his wing.
You winced at the thought that you were able to pierce such a magnificent creature. You did this. “Again, I’m extremely sorry, I understand if you eat me after you heal…”
His eyes widened, “Now why would I eat you?”
You gulped, hoping you didn’t offend him. You reached to gingerly touch his wing as lightly as you could. “I mean…you’re not human, So I assumed inhumans would eat humans…I’m so sorry for the assumption!”
“Rengoku!”
“Huh?” You blinked, turning your head to see his wide eyes staring at you in curiosity.
“My family name is Rengoku! You’ve earned the knowledge for now!” Rengoku nearly preened when he saw your face soften from being a nervous wreck. “You don’t know much about Supernatural creatures do you?”
You smiled, shaking your head as you cleaned his wing, “Unfortunately not. I mean folk stories, myths, yes, but I was under the assumption that it was all made up…” Rengoku winced slightly as you poked a tender part of his wound. “How…would I go about bandaging this? I don’t want to damage your wing any further…”
Rengoku grunted, grabbing a piece of charcoal and a piece of paper that was on the table, “this is me.” a stickfigure which you found extremely adorable. You watched as he drew the basic bones of the wing. “Luckily you shot me just to the side of the joint here.” you watched as he circled it, “My feathers will grow back regardless, so if you need to cut some, feel free to, or I can pluck them myself. But you should be able to wrap them easily enough, especially with me stuck in this form.”
You frowned, “I’d feel more comfortable if you plucked out your feathers, I wouldn’t want to hurt you anymore than I have.” He only gave a shrug with his other shoulder, reaching over to pluck the area, and gingerly placing the golden red feathers on the table. “Stuck in this form? You have more than just this?”
Rengoku nodded, “This…is an unfortunate mixture due to me being startled. Since I was injured I got stuck in this form, in between states. You saw me flying in the air as a Phoenix, when I went to land I tried to use my wings to soften the landing, and I tried to shift into a human to not be caught as a Phoenix.” You hummed understanding the logic. “You however are an interesting Human, and I have a difficulty gauging what you want from me.”
You frowned as you wrapped part of his wing, “I want you to get better, this will heal right?”
Rengoku tilted his head in thought. “It would heal faster if I cry.” he saw the look you gave and barked out in laughter. “Phoenix Tears are highly sought after due to its healing properties. It can even bring the dead back to life.”
Your eyes widened, “Oh wow…So would you drink it or put it on your wing?” You finished taping up the bandages. “Need me to look at your other wing or back?”
Rengoku shook his locks violently, eyes trained on you. “No thank you! They are already healing up on their own well enough! And I could do both. Would be easier for me to lick the tears now than to place them on my wing. But, the problem with that is, we don’t cry easily.”
You jumped up in realization, “Earlier I thought you were having a fever, and I tore my shirt so that I could wet it and place it on your forehead! I wiped away some tears with it! Would that help? You must have been in a lot of pain, again so sorry…”
Rengoku almost couldn’t help but to coo at how caring you were being. It almost reminded him of his mother in a way. “Unfortunately not, as it would be too diluted with the water. Though I appreciate you taking care of me!” he patted you on the head. He watched your visage darken a little, which he had concluded was cute.
“Um…” you moved to sit in front of him, “So…what did you mean about being cautious about giving out my name, and about you not being Fae?” You looked at him wide eyed, almost excited to learn about other creatures' existences.
Rengoku nodded with a serious look, “Be cautious of who you give your name to, as names hold power. Especially Fae, never give them your name, you’re giving up your control to them. Never welcome them into your home, in fact regardless of how we met, never do that again either. You brought me into your home when I could have been Fae, which is dangerous in itself. Never thank the Fae, that gives them the assumption that you are in debt to them. OH! Don’t accept gifts from them!”
You blinked, “Oh, are they that bad? I only know about Brownies, the ones that come and clean the house.”
Rengoku firmly nodded, causing his hair to shift, “Yes! They kidnap children to bring to their King. They can glamor themselves to look like a lover, and trick you into allowing them into your life so they can drink your blood! While not all of them are dangerous, there is no reason to not play it on the safe side. If you know a Fae’s name you can command them to leave you alone. Always give a false name, as a Fairy will always give a false name, and it can be difficult to draw a real name out of them.” he had raised a finger in thought.
You have been a sweet human and showed regret for your actions. He couldn’t help but to warn you on that. While not all humans should be trusted, he had learned that you, yourself, could be trusted. You hummed, “How long do you suppose this will take to heal without your tears?”
Rengoku blinked, “A week, perhaps. Least till I’m able to shift into a more agreeable form.” He lightly lifted your chin with his finger, “Thank you for helping me (Name)...”
You blushed, “At least I could done for injuring you. Come, you can have my Futon… to rest in.”
This time the Phoenix blushed, “Oh no I couldn’t!”
The two of you were interrupted by a knock on the door, which caused the both of you to freeze up. Rengoku’s nose flared with a smile, “It’s fine. It’s my brother. He must have tracked my heat trail. ”
You blinked before going to answer the door, finding what seemed like a teenage carbon copy of Rengoku, only pure humanlike. You bowed, “Please, come in, I finished tending to your brother’s wound.”
He only looked up at you wide eyed, seeing Rengoku in the room he rushed over to him throwing himself into a hug. “Brother! I was so worried when you didn’t come home!
“Senjurou…I’ll be okay.” Rengoku rubbed the younger ones head. “You tracked my heat trail? Great job, I’m proud of you!” Senjurou preened, while tears welled up in his eyes. “Please don’t cry, I’ll heal within a week.”
Senjurou, which you assumed was the younger Phoenix, shook his head, before moving to remove the bandages, and cried on Rengoku’s wing, causing him to heal up faster. Rengoku stretched out his wing before shifting it into his back, and shifting his legs into more human-like legs. Unfortunately that meant he was naked as well.
Your face flushed a darker color before turning sharply to look away. “I’ll ready some tea!” you said in a high pitched voice, causing the older male to chuckle.
As you made the tea, Rengoku explained the situation to Senjurou. While the younger Phoenix was skeptical of you, he couldn’t help but hold respect for you for going out of your way to fix your wrong doing, and for taking care of his brother. You returned with a couple of cups of green tea, and placed them on the table. “Thank you Miss.” You heard from the younger one, meekly.
You gave a smile, “Of course.” you raised a cup for yourself, “I hope you two never have to cry again in the future. I hate knowing I was the one responsible for making a vibrant ball of sunshine cry for his brother.”
Senjurou blushed deeply from that, causing his brother to laugh. Rengoku couldn’t help but tease you at that, “If he is a Ball of Sunshine what does that make me?”
“The Sun.” You murmured, taking a sip of your tea before you could allow them to see the blush on your face. Rengoku couldn’t help but to stare at you in awe, especially when he felt his heart skip a beat. You also felt slightly sad knowing that since he was better he had to go. “I understand if you don’t want to take me up on this offer. But, I’d like to offer both of you shelter whenever you are in the Area, or at least to let me know, so I don’t make a mistake again while hunting.”
Rengoku nodded with a smile, “Fair enough to me.”
Senjurou shifted, “Can I visit beyond that?” Rengoku shot his brother with a curious look.
You blinked back, feeling your heart warm a little. “If you trust me enough to, feel free. I don’t get much company, usually I have to go to town to sell, or buy things, so no one ever bothers me.”
Rengoku tilted his head. “No Family?”
You shook your head, “It was just my parents growing up, my father left us, and my mother got sick, I took care of her till she passed, and I was just not feminine enough for a man to court me.”
“I would court you!” Both you and Senjurou’s eyes widened and locked onto the older Phoenix, at least till he blushed realizing he spoke his thoughts out loud. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to say that!” Senjurou’s eyes flashed something devious, as if he wasn’t going to let his brother live that down.
You smiled, “That’s sweet of you. But I’m sure you’ll find a better woman than me. At least one that doesn’t injure you.”
You didn’t catch the small whine that came out of Rengoku’s mouth. A better woman? How did you not think you were good enough? You were gorgeous to him, you were very self-sustaining. You knew to keep bandages nearby.
Senjurou looked between the two of you, you looked forlorn, and his brother looked sad at that. He shook his head before turning to Rengoku, “We should get home soon, I have yet to finish dinner, and I don’t want father to be upset at us for staying out with a …”
With a human.
Oh Rengoku wanted to stay and get to know the interesting human that took care of him. He tried to hide his disappointment. Especially when he had a small pit in his stomach that wished his brother didn’t waste his tears on his wing. He nodded in response, “I understand Senjurou, we should go.”
Rengoku surprised you by pulling you into a hug. “Thank you so much for your hospitality. Remember don’t give your name out, and do not invite people in like me again.”
Both you and Senjurou blinked wide eyed, before you gave him a smile, “I’ll remember that. Thank you, and please don’t be a stranger. Your secret is safe with me.” Senjurou watched as his brother beamed at that. The two of them walked out of the door of your cottage, and you watched as the two of them shifted into gorgeous giant birds. Colors almost in reverse of their hair. Red to Gold instead of Gold to Red. Rengoku preened his feathers before taking off, Senjurou following him shortly after, without the preening of feathers.
You smiled, happy that Rengoku was able to reunite with his brother. You hoped to see him again, just not on any terms like the way you met.
Senjurou came back later that day, he spectated as you cleaned the duck you caught. You cooked a small piece of the breast for him to try, while you cut up strips to salt and dry for jerky. He basically cooed at the taste.
Senjurou couldn’t wait to tease his brother about how he got to taste your cooking before him. But for some reason you froze once you realized what you did. You fed a Mythical bird a normal bird, was that like Bird Cannibalism? Senjurou tilted his head noting your guilt. “What’s wrong?”
“Um…I just realized, I technically fed a Bird to a Bird…It…it was fine right?”
Senjurou’s eyes lit up in amusement. “Oh! I mean it wasn’t a fellow Phoenix, so yes! We eat duck all the time. Ostriches are more prefered, but those are in another continent all together.” This time it was your turn to stare in awe. “Ostriches are sort of like…these giant birds, but they're flightless! However they tend to run very fast. Their eggs are massive too! So two or three of their eggs is like a decent meal for us, for humans….probably for like ten humans. Then again I don’t know the appetites of many humans…” he rubbed the back of his head, “You’re the only Human I know, well besides my mom.”
You blinked wide eyed, “Your mom is a Human? Oh wow.” You didn’t want to imagine how the intercourse for that would have been like.
Senjurou nodded, “Rather, was. She was beautiful, and kind. Brother tends to take after her with mannerisms and a sense of justice from what I recall. My face is more her shape than fathers. Unfortunately, I don’t have much of a memory of her from being reborn like four or five times.” You tilted your head at that. “We as a Species make nests when we are close to the end of our lifespan, our bodies tends to heat up exponentially, and we can accidentally start a whole forest fire. However, we are reborn from the ashes. Generally as an egg. Our nest tends to stay warm long enough for us to hatch. However with a Human mother I was first born naturally, only after that I was reborn via an egg. My father is close to the end of his lifespan, I hope he doesn’t choose your woods to nest in.”
You shook your head with the images he filled you with. “That would be rather unfortunate for me, but it is the cycle of life I suppose.” His eyes widened as you said that nonchalantly, almost as if you were prepared to die. “I mean, don’t get me wrong, I want to live to an old age, however I cannot help with where Phoenix’s…Phoeni….go to nest. If it is my woods, I accept my fate.” You smiled with your eyes closed.
Senjurou was almost stunned at that. A glance out the window, made him feel a ping of regret, as the sun was setting. “I have to go as it’s easier to notice us at flight, at night…say (Name), what is your favorite color?”
You hummed in thought. “I never honestly gave it a thought, but…now that I think of it…You and your brothers hair and eyes seem to be my favorite color.” You blushed lightly admitting this, his eyes only widened with mischief. You realized Rengoku’s feathers were still on the table. “OH!” Senjurou watched as you bundled them into a cloth, “Please take these back to your brother. I don’t want to risk having them. I mean I know I don’t get visitors often, but I don’t want to risk you guys’ existence to be found out.”
Senjurou smiled, “Thank you, we really do appreciate that.” He stood up, taking the bundle with him, “Take care (Name). I’ll be back, and maybe I can talk my brother into coming.” He walked out the door, placing the bundle on the ground, before shifting into his Phoenix form, he reached over with his Talons, gripping it tight, before taking off into the air.
You watched him till he disappeared.
You sighed in content, thinking of how the day had turned quite sharply. Not once in your wildest dreams you could imagine what had happened that day.

“It’s getting dark soon,” Sam said to his brother, who was driving.
“I know,” Dean responded.
“Then can you step on the gas?” Sam asked impatiently. “We’ve still got two more warehouses to check out.”
“Yeah, I know what I’m doing, Sammy, okay?” Dean said.
“Okay,” Sam said. “I just want to make sure we find the nest before it gets dark.”
“You don’t think I know that?”
Ten minutes later, they pull up to an abandoned chemical plant.
“See? We’re here, and it’s still daylight,” Dean said.
“Let’s just hope that if it’s not this one, you can drive faster than my dead grandma to the next one,” Sam retorted.
“Hey, Grandma Deanna was badass, you know that,” Dean said.
Dean retrieved machetes, syringes filled with dead man’s blood, and their guns from the trunk. They circled the building, listening for any signs of activity, before separating. Sam entered through the front main entrance, while Dean entered through the side. They worked their way in, but they didn’t encounter any vampires. They met in the middle of the building, which looked like it used to be a lounge for the previous employees.
“Guess we’ve got to go look at the last warehouse,” Sam said.
“I was sure it was this one,” Dean said, almost whining.
“Is that why you weren’t worried about getting here before sunset?” Sam demanded.
The way Dean avoided Sam’s gaze was more than enough of an answer. Sam sighed and groaned.
“Dean!”
“Let’s just go. Maybe they won’t be awake yet,” Dean said.
Then they heard a noise in the next room. They were instantly alert. They moved toward the nearest door with guns and machetes raised. They heard the noise again: a match striking. Sam and Dean glanced at each other.
Maybe there are only a few vamps and they’re waking up right now, Sam thought.
They went in hard, slamming the door and pointing at the only thing that moved. There was a fire blazing in the room which blinded them for a moment.
“Oh god,” a feminine voice said.
The Winchesters blinked, readjusting their vision. They took in the room: a small kitchen filled with headless bodies piled in a corner. They were the source of the fire. Blood covered the floor, as well as the woman standing in front of them with her hands raised.
“It’s not what it looks like, I swear,” she said.
She blew a piece of hair out of her face and smoothed it down with the back of one hand, smearing the blood. She squinted at them.
“Wait.” She pointed at their machetes. “You guys are hunters too!”
“Yeah, I’m Dean and this is my brother Sam. Who are you?” Sam said.
“Oh, I’m Y/N. I’m new to the game.”
Sam and Dean lowered their weapons while Y/N went over to a duffel bag against the far wall and began to repack it.
“God, why’d you guys have to scare me like that? I thought you were cops. These vampires were questioned twice by the police before,” Y/N said.
“Did you kill all these vamps by yourself?” Sam asked.
“Yes. I guess that’s why you guys are here, huh? Looks like I beat you to it,” Y/N said with a smile.
“That’s impressive,” Dean said. “Hey, maybe we can take you out for a drink to celebrate?”
Y/N raised an eyebrow at him and smirked as she tugged the strap of her duffel bag onto her shoulder.
“Sorry, I’ll have to pass, Winchester,” she said. “I’ve heard stories about the two of you.”
Sam paled, and Dean rolled his eyes.
“Those stories are probably exaggerated,” Sam said.
“Probably...,” Y/N agreed. “...not by a lot. But in any case, I’m not exactly fit to be seen in public right now. Maybe I’ll see you guys again on another hunt.”
She gave an informal salute and stepped out through the back door. Sam looked at the slow-burning fire, admiring Y/N’s handiwork.
“She’s good,” Dean finally said.
“Yup.”
“We should probably get out of here before the whole building burns down.”
“Yeah.”
The Winchesters turned and almost ran out of the building. They reached the Impala just as an explosion went off in the building. The structure collapsed, hiding all evidence of the supernatural.
