The crisp air of the chilled night wrapped around the city, holding its people close as they chattered with loved ones. Neon signs glowed brightly, almost guiding the night wanderers along the streets.
Buildings were closing, and overworked employees dragged themselves to their cars, ready for a long sleep.
But the night wasn’t over for everyone.
Leaning against the edge of a rooftop, you breathed in every ounce of peace the sky offered. A heavy sigh escaped you, almost as if you were clinging to the last bit of sanity you had left.
Your legs ached, forcing you to stay upright, and rubbing your tired face only made you feel more exhausted.
You tilted your head back, hoping for some relief—but misjudged your balance. The world seemed to tilt, and you let yourself fall, closing your eyes to brace for the impact.
Instead of hitting the cold concrete, you felt soft but firm arms catch you.
Startled, you pushed away and turned to face your savior, bowing slightly in gratitude while regaining your balance. Your eyes widened.
It was Lee Haechan.
“Haechan? What are you doing here at this hour?” you managed, still shocked. “Thank you for saving me from... possibly cracking my head open,” you added sheepishly, scratching the back of your neck.
His raspy voice echoed across the rooftop, carrying a calm warmth.
“I didn’t need anything. You’re welcome for saving you from your near-death experience,” he smirked. “I just came for fresh air—I couldn’t stand that stuffy practice room.”
You nodded, wordless, as you both sat in silence, breathing in the night.
Leaning on the edge, he looked effortlessly captivating under the stars. His honey-gold skin gleamed softly, and the little moles on his face sparkled like constellations. The bags under his eyes told stories of sleepless nights and relentless work.
When he spoke again, it was softer, tinged with a rare vulnerability.
“Sometimes I wish we didn’t have to overwork ourselves, that we could make mistakes without the world judging us… I just wish for a break. Sorry for rambling.”
You watched him, letting the truth of his words sink in before speaking.
“I wish for freedom too. Even though I’m not in the public eye, being staff comes with its own stress—constantly wondering if you’re doing a good job. You’re not alone, Haechan.”
A warmth spread across his expression, like he’d found home in your words.
“You’re never alone. Even though I’m just a staff member you met tonight, I want you to know I’m here for you. Sometimes knowing someone cares is enough to help you through the overwhelming moments.” You offered him a gentle smile.
He studied you, searching for any sign of dishonesty, then leaned back, curiosity softening his gaze. Silence settled between you—not awkward, but comforting.
The crisp night air lingered, but the warmth between you made the chill irrelevant. In that quiet, fleeting moment, a newfound friendship had begun—a spark strong enough to light up even the darkest nights.

And what if... it is the villain you fall for? What then?
The chill of winter air bit against his skin like an unforgiving visitor. It was like sugar and salt, the way rivets of cold breeze tried to beat against him while he gazed at the landscape, looking like a summer prince in the middle of the snow covered garden. He stood out from the stark white with his sun kissed skin and golden brown hair that ruffled around his head like a halo. It was like he was plucked from somewhere else—a different universe—and was forced to live in the pages of an entirely different storybook where he doesn't belong.
"Winter this season is harsher than the past years," Doyoung said plainly as he watched the younger boy reach out towards a frostbitten rose climbing a thorny vine. The latter let his gloved fingers run over its outer petals gently, observing it rather than turning towards his advisor.
"What are they saying about it?" He asked casually, his voice sounding like sweet honey and silk against skin. Behind him, Doyoung pursed his lips and stared at the younger one's back for a moment before finally relaying his message.
"They want you to kill her, Donghyuck."
His thumb stopped from running over the petals at that declaration. Of course he was expecting it, especially with him coming of age soon to take over the throne, but it doesn't make the condition more palatable now that it was confirmed to be his final test. Despite him being the sole heir of the royal family, his father refuses to hand over the crown to him so easily—even if he has proven himself worthy of it again and again—until he passes this one last hurdle, the one last thorn on his side. The order was straightforward: kill the witch who has thrown the whole kingdom to never ending winter and bring back the lost glory of their lands.
It's almost ironically symbolic, how this was chosen to be his final test, too. As the one considered as the new hope of the kingdom—it's sun—it is befitting for Donghyuck to be the one to drive away the frost and the cold.
"If that is the case, then we need to start moving," he finally said to Doyoung who was patiently waiting for his final orders. "Assemble a team. We're going to hunt her down."
The older boy simply gave a curt nod. "What's the message I should tell your father?"
Donghyuck's gaze landed once again on the rose still nuzzled on his hand. Slowly, his fingers balled around the dark petals until they were completely crushed in his fist, staining the leather of his glove red.
"That I'm going to find her and end this once and for all."

You let the basket hooked on your arm swing lightly by your side as you made your way back to the cottage. A soft lilting tune passed your lips as you smiled down at the collection of herbs and buds that you have meticulously picked out today for your brews and concoctions. As a medic, it is important for you to always have a good enough collection of ingredients to keep your business alive, especially during such a harsh winter season where everyone seems more prone to illness.
You were too busy being caught up in your own happy bubble that you didn't notice the odd presence surrounding you as you trudged up the snow covering your hut's small front yard. Living in the middle of the forest affords you the privacy you prefer, yes, but it does have its own set of disadvantages, too. While animals generally leave you alone, the woods make it easy for other kinds of predators to lurk around its shadows.
Like now.
You were already at your front steps when you finally sensed it. It was more of the slight change in air rather than the sound that gave it away, but you ducked just in time as an arrow came flying from somewhere deep in the cluster of trees before sinking against your wooden door with a loud thud. Eyes growing round with fear and shock, you quickly turned around just in time as uniformed soldiers finally stepped out into the clearing, some on foot, others on steed. There were about a dozen of them, each one with their own weapon aimed directly at one place.
Your heart.
"Halt."
Your gaze swiveled towards the sound of a voice from the corner of the forest. Lips still parted in fear, you watched as a boy about your age finally stepped into the middle of the clearing, his white horse galloping gracefully over the snow. He was such a stark contrast against the paleness and ethereal beauty of his beast and his surroundings, his royal regalia burning red while his skin glowed like he was lit from within. He looked like the sun the cold winter days have kissed goodbye.
For a moment, none of you moved as your eyes locked. You couldn't figure out the expression he was wearing, but he was staring at you with such a somber look that made the mad beating of your heart slowly start to calm down. Still, the fear in you remained, especially with the arrow embedded against your door brushing your peripheral vision.
"Your highness, is it her?"
Your gaze slipped towards another man, also alight a horse, at the stranger's side. He looked just a few years older than the person he was attending, his eyes sharp as they ran over you. It wasn't his assessing gaze that made you frown, however, as your attention focused instead on the words he uttered.
"Your highness?" you asked softly to yourself, a frown creasing your features as you looked back again at the boy in the middle of the clearing. Your voice was barely a whisper, but it was enough for the other to straighten his back as if you screamed out his name. This couldn't be… Is he…
"It will probably do you well if you greet your prince properly, witch."
"Doyoung, it's fine."
You glanced back at the other man in confusion, but the boy in front of you was quick enough to raise a hand before you could even make another move. You watched now as he gracefully alighted from his horse and landed on his feet, his boots digging in the snow covering the ground. He took a furtive step towards you and you froze, spine straight and shoulders stiff. Behind him, you caught the way the bows of the soldiers raised once more to point at your heart.
You swallowed, pure fear coursing through you. You were surrounded, cornered, with not a single place to hide and run. It is almost ironic, how the boy in front of you has the face of an angel yet the intensity of a predator as he watched over you now.
"You are the lady of the west woods, are you not?" For the first time, he finally addressed you directly, his tone light, as if he already knows your answer.
"Why are you here?" You managed to ask in a whisper as you avoided to give a direct reply. He continued slowly closing the distance between the two of you and you unconsciously tried to move away, only stopping when your back finally hit your front door.
"Maybe I should rephrase the question. Are you the witch who cursed the kingdom?"
You frowned.
"What are you talking about?"
Donghyuck stepped into your porch carefully and you finally dropped the basket of herbs and flowers on your side as he moved closer and closer to your personal space. He didn't even glance at the fallen contents that have spilled on the floor, however, his brown eyes drilling on your shaking form instead.
"You create potions, salves, magic," he said plainly as if he memorized it all in his head. "You perform rituals. Spells."
"I am a medic. I help people with their illnesses. I do no magic!"
Your outburst finally made him stop. At this point, he is merely just a few feet away from you—a simple stretch of your hand and your fingertips would be able to touch him. He didn't say anything for a moment, his expression remaining unreadable, while you, on the other hand, remained combusting inside. You may be detached from the normal going ons of regular society but you know how people like him—of his rank—work, especially towards those like you. For royalty, it is all too easy to pick on solitaries, simply because you are involved with things they simply cannot easily understand. It's a story as old as time. A story told and told again, especially for women sacrificed and burned at the stake.
“I’ve been trying to catch you for so long. Did you know that? I have everything I need to prove that you are the one I’m searching for.”
His words were like pinpricks burying slowly into your flesh. With how close he is to you, you could finally see the real emotions brewing beneath his calm and perfect facade. No... his isn’t the warm and friendly sunlight the townsfolk has been searching for for years. Instead, you could see heat and intensity there, similar to the combusting of ancient planets and universes collapsing against each other.
His stare was clear in sending one message: Witch or not, you have no escape.
Run. You have to run.
The voice in your head was so loud that it almost seemed like someone shouted right at your ear. You took a step sideways just in time for you to escape his grasp when he tried reaching out for your arm. Donghyuck didn’t look like he was bothered by it, however, even as you nearly lost your balance when you tried to turn on your heels. In fact, he didn’t try to come after you again even when you started to run.
It was like he knew that no matter where you go, he will always find you.
“If you’re going to escape, make sure you move faster than the arrows,” his voice rang clear behind you as you made a run for the trees.
“But then again, witches like you don’t bleed.”
Those were the last words you heard before a chorus of strings stretching back on wooden bows screamed behind you, followed by the whistling of arrows as they tore through the air.

“So if the Prince succeeds in catching the witch, he can take over as King?” One of the soldiers whispered to his companion huddled beside him by the fire as he tried to fold his arms closer to himself for extra warmth. Winter nights in the forest are harsh and unforgiving so a distraction, even something as mindless as a conversation, is a welcome respite to the discomfort. His fellow nightwatch grunted in confirmation of his question and tried to rub his gloved hands together for heat.
“That is the gossip around the castle. That’s why we have been dispatched,” a grin split the other’s lips despite the chattering of his teeth. “Could ya imagine? Our party will go down in history. We’ll be the ones to put an end to this endless winter and the army who will help a new king ascend.”
The other man, however, seemed dubious. He stared at the shadowy edge of the woods before finally speaking up again.
“Are you convinced that the girl is the witch though?”
“Ha?”
He shrugged. “Have you seen her? She looked far from the powerful being all the lore are describing. She looked nothing more than a mere human girl.”
The other snorted as he leaned back against his hands. An animal howled from deep within the forest, causing a flock of birds to fly away from the distant trees they were perched on.
“Do you need to care? You know how this thing works. It might be her. Might be not. Regardless, we are going to present someone to the king, the pretty little prince will get the crown, and we get a hero’s welcome. Who cares about one girl? It’s always been like this, especially for the royal family.”
Donghyuck pushed back from the dead bark of a tree he was leaning against and turned his back on the pair. Those were all he needed to hear as he lightly trudged his way back to their makeshift camp after his usual late adventuring. Nights in the forest have never been kind to his sleep schedule so he was mostly moving around even after dark, but it wasn’t really like he was wanting to take it easy in the first place anyway. If anything, the past few days were the most high-strung he’s ever been in his life to the point that the mere adrenaline was making him function despite the lack of rest. It has actually come to the point where Doyoung noticed and appealed for him to slow down, but he couldn’t… not when his prize is so very much within his reach.
He knew it wouldn’t take long now before he can finally hunt her down. It was brief, but he knew his eyes weren’t fooling him when he saw an arrow bury itself on her back before she finally escaped into the forest. Even as she tries to run away from him, he knows it wouldn’t be too long till she is weak enough from the salt-soaked iron embedded in her flesh. She may heal her wounds or never bleed at all, but it will at least weaken her.
When that time finally comes, then that’s when he can finally put all of this into completion. Donghyuck has been nothing but patient when it came to all of this, but now that he is at the last lap, he can’t wait to finally claim what he’s always wanted all along.
The soft but powerful beating of wings made him look up now to see an eagle soar into the night sky before disappearing into the clearing where he and his party made camp. Jaw tightening at the sight, he hastened his footsteps till he finally broke through the ring of trees. Sure enough, Doyoung was there to receive the roll of letter tied around the bird’s leg, his eyes going quickly over the parchment. Donghyuck approached him now, eyes zoning in on a white cloth he was holding on his other hand. His advisor gave him a look before offering it to him.
The gauze almost glowed in the moonlight, deep red blood staining it.
“They’ve found her. We can reach her by daylight if we leave now.”

You barely have any idea what time of day it is as you stumbled over some dead roots that caught the hem of your frayed skirt. It was almost a miracle, how you’re still alive after no food and water and a wound on your back, and yet here you are, barely hanging on. You have nothing on you other than the dress and light coat you had on, and even those were barely doing their job as wayward thorns and branches continue to tear against them as you went deeper into the woods. You couldn’t remember the last time you had a sip of water and your head was swimming from a mix of high fever, pain, and hunger. You were in such a great deal of pain that you didn’t even try to sit up again when your frail body finally hit the frost-covered ground with a dull thud. Instead of righting yourself up, you curled against the dead roots, arms and legs closing in on yourself as you silently prayed for death to come to your rescue as soon as possible.
Yes, death would be a far kinder savior than being caught like an animal by those who call themselves humans. How ironic is it, really, that people are often scared of things they cannot understand when true danger lies within their very nature. Humans will never even think twice before betraying or sacrificing others for the sake of their own goals, something that is far more terrifying than any magic or instinct of a wild beast.
It was the same reason why you’ve always kept your distance, choosing to live as a solitary instead of mingling with the rest of humanity. You thought it would keep you safe from the complex games that people play, even at the expense of you being alone.
But oh, how foolish of you to think of it that way.
You almost wanted to laugh ironically at yourself now as you felt the cold bite of the winter air finally start to overwhelm your body. Being safe is the farthest you are at the moment as your gaze stared at the pure white sky above, only half alive. At least your wound has stopped hurting now as the rest of your body started going numb. Just a little more, and the comfort of death will finally pull you into his cold embrace.
But it wasn’t coldness that enveloped you as you finally closed your eyes. It was the exact opposite of it.
Warmth.
You barely even managed to open your eyes again to see what was happening before you. Instead of the sky, your gaze was met by Donghyuck looking down on you, his brown orbs roaming over your features. You could barely feel the arms he had around you, but you could tell from how close he was that he was holding you tightly against himself. A look of pain flashed over your face weakly and you tried to push him off of you despite yourself.
Please. Let me die in peace.
You weren’t sure if you said that out loud or not, but regardless, he answered you with a whisper that rang loud in your hollow ears before you finally lost consciousness.
“I told you. No matter where you go, I'll come and find you.”
*******
The man swept his gaze over the expanse of the view laid out in front of him like a painting. His kingdom, once known to be one of the grandest summer gems in the continent sparkled like a diamond in all its whiteness, beautiful but dead. For years, he’s sent his best men to hunt down the being behind the curse of the never-ending winter, but each party went back unsuccessful, some not even making it back to their homes at all.
Finally, the time has come for that struggle to end. He’d always known that his son was special—the moment his late wife gave birth to him, he knew that he’d give renewed hope to their people. He’s loved by everyone; his subjects, his peers, even the sky above and the earth he walked on. In return, Donghyuck compensated for that affection by being the perfect prince, and now, he’s truly proven his worth by bringing home the ultimate salvation just like he was fated to do.
“Your majesty, you have a visitor.”
“Let them in.”
He gave one last parting look at the lands stretched out in front of him. It was unusual for the king to allow himself to feel fond and nostalgic after ruling the kingdom for decades, but a part of him is also bursting with pride at the thought that he is turning it over to his son—the most worthy person he could ever trust his people and lineage on. With Donghyuck, everything and everyone is safe.
The soft sound of footsteps finally made him turn around. He was expecting it to be the prince, but instead, the smile he had quickly died on his face when his eyes landed on his visitor.
A girl stood in front of him, clad in a simple dress. She was so still that anyone could have mistaken her to be a marble statue, but her burning irises betrayed her inhuman air.
The king took a step back, fear quickly spreading across his face. He only had a glimpse of his son’s prisoner before she was thrown into the dungeons, but there is no mistaking what—or who—is in front of his eyes right now.
“What are you—”
The girl slowly leaned her head to the side as her eyes sparkled with an unnatural light in them. He briefly noticed how the air around her seemed to crackle with energy before she slightly raised her left hand, palm up in the air. With horror, he watched as she gave a quick flick of her wrist as if she was breaking something in the air.
A shooting pain ran through him like an electric shock. The king fell to his knees, eyes wide as his hands tried to scramble at his sides. Searing white-hot pain coursed over his bones and his flesh felt like they were melting and freezing at the same time.
“You really thought you could end this. End me,” her voice was soft, gentle, but emotionless when she spoke. She made a motion with her fingers like she was squeezing something and the man felt like his heart was being pulled out of his chest.
“Just like the selfish people you rule, you are clueless. Pathetic.”
“H-Help. Guards—”
He felt like he was on the verge of being driven to madness by the pain when another movement from the door’s threshold made him look up. Still scrambling and clawing at the ground to deal with the physical torture, a brief look of hope broke through his features momentarily when he saw his son walk into the room.
“D-Donghyuck. She escaped. K-Kill her—!”
The prince stared at him wide-eyed and slowly turned to face the witch. It took moments, maybe a couple of eternities, before something else changed in his features, unmasking what’s underneath.
With newfound horror, the king watched as his son stepped behind the form of the woman in the middle of the room and lovingly wrapped his arms around her waist. The boy barely looked at him as he turned his love riddled gaze towards her before burying his lips into the crook of her neck.
The vision of it was unlike any of the pain that was slowly draining the life out of him. The realization hit him like a tidal wave, crushing him into pieces.
“Take it easy. You’re still a little weak from your injury,” Donghyuck hummed as if it was just the two of them in the room. His hand grazed briefly against the small of her back, over the same spot the iron arrow caught, but there was no wound there, the skin as smooth as ever. The witch barely even looked at him to acknowledge his words, her gaze still focused on the dying man in front of them.
“S-Son, why?” the king managed to blurt out as his airways slowly but painfully constricted in his chest. For the first time since he came into the room, the boy finally turned to properly acknowledge his presence. A chill ran down his spine at the look in his son’s eyes. There was not a trace of the perfect prince he raised, the one everyone believed to be their salvation. Instead, there was only clouded love and obsession in his eyes, as well as unadulterated madness.
“You remember what you told me about doing anything for those that I love, father? This is exactly what it is.”
“Th—the people, the kingdom. Those are—they have always been your goals as the prince!”
Donghyuck barely even blinked at his words. Instead, he tightened his hold around the girl in front of him, his chin resting lovingly on her shoulder.
“I never said that. I’ve always had my goal, my eyes on one prize, that’s true.” Angling his head a bit, he pressed a kiss against the edge of her jaw.
“It’s her.”
The king parted his lips, half from the last surge of pain tearing him from the inside and the other half from the words of his son. In his last breaths, he realized how foolish he had been to be blinded by the boy’s perfection, completely missing out the rotting betrayal and madness hiding underneath the glossy surface.
“What should we do?” the witch spoke out again now, her eyes still set on the crumbling form of the royal in front of her. How pathetic. Just as how easy it is for humans to fool themselves with titles, position, and power, it doesn’t take too much for them to be stripped out of everything in the end, too.
Donghyuck’s gaze moved away from his father now to gaze with affection at the woman in his arms. He smiled before saying the last words that ultimately sealed his fate with hers.
“You can take his life. Just as you wish.”
A flick of a finger, a breaking of a neck, and the kingdom was drowned in never-ending winter again.

You knew this is what he had always wanted.
You have never acknowledged him, but you knew he’d always been there, watching you from the shadows of the woods, drinking your every move as if it was his lifeline. It started years ago, when you first decided you were going to be the ultimate punishment to humanity after it has lost its honor, and for a time, you wondered when he was going to break his silence to finally make his approach. While you have fooled everyone around you, he had always known you for what you truly are—your darkness, your anger, your rage, he figured it all out from all those times he had watched you from afar.
You never really tried hiding it from him, too. If anything, you thought it would be a nice challenge; to see how a simple human could deal with a being like you. But he was different. While others ran away from the darkness, he wanted to embrace it. For him, you were perfect. And he was perfect for you, too.
Yet, you didn’t want to be tied down by anything and anyone. Regardless of his foolish love for you, the last thing you ever want in your life is to be caged by someone else, something he exactly wants to do to you. So you tried to run away. To escape. To keep him away as far as possible.
But alas, even your power and rage have their limitations. You don’t know how someone like him, a mere human, managed to do it, but he caught you in his web fairly, and for that, he has proven himself worthy of your love.
You gently let your hand fall to your side now as your gaze ran over the body on the floor. Slowly, you finally turned to face your captor, now lover, looking down on you with the universe in his eyes. You slightly leaned your head to the side in curiosity as your own gaze raked over his beautiful features, sun-kissed and warm.
“What’s your name?”
He smiled. It was the first time the two of you could talk without all the lies and the acts.
“Donghyuck. You can call me Donghyuck.”
“If I kill you now, Donghyuck, will you let me go?”
He didn’t even flinch at your question. Instead, he continued looking at you lovingly, a hand reaching out to tuck a wayward lock of hair behind your ear.
“You can ruin me again and again and still have my heart. But no… Even in death, I’m afraid I can’t let you escape from me.”
That was enough of the answer you were looking for. Lifting your hands, you cupped his cheeks between them, the cold frost of your skin melding against his warmth.
“If that’s the case, then I’m yours. But I’ll make you a new man. With a new name.”
He simply stared, waiting for your final words. Raising yourself up a little, you angled your lips closer to his as you whispered your blessing.
“Haechan. Just like the sun.”
Haechan’s smile was unmatched as he gazed down on her with all the love he had kept at bay for years. Finally, after so long, he could let his whole being be filled by her with nothing else holding him back. Slowly, he bent over until their lips met, winter and summer crashing together.
One last musing echoed in his head before he let everything truly and fully consume him. How fitting of a new name, he thought, the one she gave him.
It's perfect how just like the sun, he’s willing to burn down the world, even himself, for her.

You and Donghyuck have been friends for years, getting along well with your sense of humors and personalities. You couldn’t help but form a small crush on your best friend. However, you were unaware of Donghyuck’s feelings for you. The two of you were close, hanging out regularly and talking nearly everyday.
You recently told Donghyuck you were going on a date. You didn’t notice the smile on his face dropped and how sad he looked. He just wanted to tell you how he felt, but he stopped himself. He felt that it would be selfish, how he only wanted you to be his.
You were oblivious to his thoughts and all Donghyuck could do was smile as he watched you ramble about how excited you were. “If y/n is happy, then I should be happy.” He thought to himself, letting himself get his heart broken for the your happiness.
Donghyuck avoided you for a couple of days. He didn’t answer your calls and texted half-hearted replies. He was jealous but he wouldn’t admit it to himself. You were annoyed with how Donghyuck was acting, not knowing why he was acting this way.
You decided to head to the dorm, wanting to confront Hyuck. You knocked on the front door and waited for someone to answer. The door swung open and you were greeted with Johnny. “Hey Johnny.” You greet, giving him a smile.
“Hey Y/n! How are you?” He asked, letting you inside the dorm. “I’m good I guess. I’m here to see Hyuck.” Johnny nods at your reply, “He’s probably in his room.” You thank Johnny before making your way to Hyuck’s room.
The door was ajar, your hand moved to push it open but you stopped once you heard voices. “What do I do?” You hear someone speak, who you assumed was Hyuck. “You should just tell her how you feel.” The other person, you assume was Mark, replied.
You felt guilty, listening to the two’s private conversation, but you couldn’t help but continue to eavesdrop. “Well that’s easier said than done. What if she doesn’t feel the same?” You hear Hyuck snap. You felt somewhat offended, how could your best friend have a crush on someone and not tell you?
“C’mon Hyuck it’s Y/n for gods sake.” Mark replied and you froze. “He likes me?” You thought to yourself, shocked at Mark’s words. “She’s my best friend, I don’t wanna ruin our relationship.” There’s a small pause before Hyuck speaks again. “Either way, Y/n likes someone else. She told me about a date and I just- didn’t take it well. I started avoiding her.”
You could hear Mark let out a groan of frustration. “You idiot, you don’t do that to a person. Just because you’re jealous doesn’t mean you can take it out on y/n.”
“I know hyung. I just- get so frustrated at the thought of y/n being happy with someone else. I know it’s selfish to think that. Why can’t she feel the same way?” Hyuck whines. You take a deep breath, finally deciding to finally reveal yourself to the bickering boys. You softly open the door, “What if I do feel the same way?” You ask, the two boys shocked at your sudden appearance. Mark leaves the room, giving the two of you privacy.
“So I heard you like me?” You smile, breaking the awkward silence. “You weren’t suppose to find out this way.” He pouts and you laugh at his expression. You move to press a kiss to his cheek, Hyuck turning into a blushing mess. You give him a small smirk before intertwining your fingers.
