Headcanons for kakashi dealing with a fem student who just lost her family and he was the only family she had so now shes all alone and since its a rule that shinobi can't cry she seems totally emotionless
A/N: ;-;
Kakashi himself is a guy who’s spent a lot of time hiding his emotions. He was always the “cool” guy who couldn’t be bothered, even when he was tearing apart inside. So he understands her, in a way. He’s lost everyone, too, so he definitely understands the kind of pain she goes through
He doesn’t contront her about it immediately. He knows that many people don’t want to pour their heart out to someone when their wounds are still so fresh. He might offer to talk, though. In a subtle way. He doens’t wanna come on too strong.
Wait, actually - he knows his students pretty well. He tries to learn everything there is to learn about them, so he probably knows rather well whether he should speak up or not.
He senses it when she’s just faking it because she wants to stick to the code. It’s not healthy. It’s not good. It’s not helping.
He seems like the type of guy who watches and observes and he might wait a little too long, even. There’s a big chance he might not act until the facade actually breaks. But then he’ll be right there for her.
She has a team. She has him. She is part of this village. Even if it feels like it, she’s not completely alone.
He’ll tell her about himself, if she’s willing to listen. He’ll tell her what he went through, how long it took him to recover from his father’s death. And he tells her how he dealt with it. How he found friends and how he let the village into his heart as his family. He’s not the best with words but he can be very honest and that alone touches many people.
