1923 Antiquity Archive: A Dark Egyptian Jazz Journey into Mummy Noir
While cinema screens capture the loud terror of ancient curses, this collection steps into the quiet, heavy grief trapped inside the stone walls.
This is a visual and sonic companion to the Mummy Mythos, built on cold shadow and smoke rather than cheap horror. It replicates the exact atmosphere of a century-old discovery—a Noir Night spent in the presence of a forgotten king.
In this dark room, 1920s Noir Jazz collides with the traditional music of Ancient Egypt. The breathy notes of the Ney flute and the deep, woody thrum of the Oud scratch against minimalist piano chords, low contrabass lines, and smoky, sub-tone saxophones.
The narrative moves from gaslit Cairo alleyways into the forbidden vaults of the museum storage after hours. The investigator’s fedora and trumpet lie abandoned on the concrete floor, but the music stays trapped in the ruins.

I've been making these edits over on Instagram, but I wanted to post here too! I composed an entire 20-track relaxation/sleep/study/reading music album over two years, and recently became OBSESSED with Heated Rivalry ;) On my insta I upload clips of emotional scenes between Shane & Ilya (yes, I have a video with Scott and Kip too, don't worry hahaha) and play my music in the background! I, and many of the people who've commented on my vids find that they pair together quite nicely!
I just finished two 1-hour version of two of my songs with rain for anyone who needs to study, are having trouble sleeping, want something to read books too, or just relax to! (Link in this post) 😜💙🪷
