What was your favorite book for May? ❓

Good afternoon, book lovers and bookish bats! I'm currently (desperately) searching for a job in the publishing industry (if you see anything, lemme know!), exploring all of the amazing indie bookstores in ATL, and spending as much time with bae + our local bookish bats as possible. If you read in German you really should try Eleanor Bardilac`s books. They are all rather slow and atmospheric but I have loved each and every one and they are really good queer books.

2025 Reading Recap

Book Goal 100 ✔️ Finished 151 books !

Pages Goal 25,000 ✔️ Finished 33,014 pages

2025 was actually a huge reading year for me and I will forever look back fondly. I fell into many wonderful books but something was in the air when I was reading Manga because everything I picked up had me crashing out in the best way.

Haikyuu and Wind breaker took over my 2025. The way they both wormed into my head so quickly and just took over every waking moment for me for Months. The amount of joy I got and still get from those stories, both are truly Top Tier to me.

Since I was so consumed by manga I stayed light of reading challenges so I wouldn't be overwhelmed, and the rainbow challenge was so cute and simple! & most of those books I read for the challenge came from my TBR and it was nice to knock it down a little.
