❋Since I’ve been stuck in this beautiful blizzard, I’ve been able to get a ton of reading done! Finished the Gilded Wolves and am beginning this beautiful book for my “Judge A Book by its Cover” series on my blog (feel free to check it out - link in the bio). ⋆ ❋I’m going to have The Wicked Deep review up tomorrow, since this blizzard has kept me from being productive (sorry!). ⋆ ❋I was tagged by @chapters.of.ash to answer a few #readinghabitstag related questions. (This is really fun, so if anyone else wants to tag me, feel free!) ⋆ ✘ Q1: 𝓦𝓱𝓮𝓷 𝓭𝓸 𝓘 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭? ↳ Usually in the afternoon and scattered throughout the day. I almost never read in the evening, since that’s when I spend time with my fiancé. I always manage to sneak an hour before sleeping (which is the only time I use my kindle — I really don’t like e-readers) ⋆ ✘ Q2: 𝓦𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓭𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭? ↳ Everywhere! There is no wrong answer. Usually I’m comfiest in my bed with a fleece blanket, so that’s my preferred spot. ⋆ ✘ Q3: 𝓑𝓸𝓸𝓴 𝓸𝓻 𝓜𝓸𝓿𝓲𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓼𝓽? ↳ I usually read the book first. Except I still haven’t read Bird Box... and I’m only just now reading The Magicians, despite being 3 seasons in on the show... whoops. ⋆ ✘ Q4: 𝓒𝓪𝓷 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓹 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓶𝓲𝓭𝓭𝓵𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓪 𝓬𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻? ↳ If I do, it’s usually a bad sign (or I really had to do something else). In a fabulous book? No way could I pull myself away from a chapter. ⋆ ✘ Q5: 𝓓𝓸 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓸𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓫𝓸𝓸𝓴𝓼? ↳ No, but I do take reading notes! I tagged a few bookstagrammers who may or may not take part. I can't wait to see your responses ❤️🌼 ••• Q1: When do you read? The moment I'm able to, I could be standing on a packed train or waiting for my students to get to class. ••• Q2: Where do you read? 🤔 Usually in the couch, but since this season it's almost always in bed because it's so warm and cozy there. ••• Q3: Books or movie first? It depends- if I find out the movie is based on a book, I'll read the book first then watch the movie. Quite a few times I end up watching the movie/TV show then find out there's a book. I always, end up reading the book then watching the adaptation again just to see how well the actors bring the characters and story to life. ••• Q4: Can you stop reading in the middle of a chapter? Uhm sometimes, but mainly at night when all the words start to blend together on the page. Otherwise not a chance, especially if I'm completely invested in the characters and the plot. ••• Happy Sunday lovelies! I've been reading nonstop lately and have been making notes on all I've read, I just haven't taken many bookstagram worthy pictures. I kid you not I've taken over 20 pictures and maybe only two of them are worth sharing and this was one of them ...
