Kinda done with society's need to treat enjoyment as a finite resource that needs to be rationed and trying to apply "us" vs "them" mentality to the most inane and inconsequential things.

Liking something doesn't mean you automatically have to hate anything that is similar or opposite. Liking something doesn't magically make its competition bad.

If you preferred the book over the movie, that's cool, but turning that preference into bashing the movie and everyone who enjoys it will not fix the shitshow that is your life in any meaningful way. (unless you pull a Johanne Sacrebleu and actually *do* something with that vitriol, and that something works) .
