Yeah, so the situation is complicated
Basically, Melody (Luna’s mom) and Drew were together and all when they had Sky. A couple years later, Melody suddenly left with the rest of the girls (Alex and Mckenna) for an unknown reason. It wasn’t later when Mckenna told Melody “Hey, you do realize you’re pregnant, right?”
Melody couldn’t just go back after disappearing for months; Drew would start asking questions and demand that he come with. They had to do a certain thing that involved the hunters, and Melody couldn’t risk anyone else’s lives. During her pregnancy, Melody noticed she’d get random power surges from the baby, and Melody would get irritated whenever water contacted her skin. Melody learned that she could only get wet at night without getting irritated She figured it was the baby, and named her Luna, because that’s when she was at her calmest. As much as it pained her, she had to stop, give birth, and drop the baby at some foster house’s doorstep (basically pulled a harry potter) with a blanket that said ‘Luna’.
Later on, Luna kinda gave herself the last name “white” for no particular reason. The girls from the five are still missing in action.
But needless to say, Sky and Luna are unaware they are siblings. Their dad obviously doesn’t know about Luna’s existence either…well, as far as he knows, Luna is Sky’s friend and nothing more.
Also, Luna doesn't know her parents are two of the founders (obviously). Nick and Logan don’t know either, since their mom left when they were young. Emma doesn’t know (her grandma never said anything). Sky only knows his dad is one of the founders. It’s all complicated.
