this ☝️, they are so dependent of him for everything. They expect to get every small answer for everything directly from him. And when they don't like what they get? They start to go against him just like in the case of Mystic Flour!
I don't know how Fount treated them and their questions but I believe if he used a more "Socratic" method for answering questions they would be more independent and things wouldn't have ended like that... maybe.

I know that the soul jams can talk to their users but what pushed this one to corrupt his own?
Is it in its nature but was countered by the light of truth when Fount still had it and took advantage of the commotion to strike?
Was the Light of Deceit's influence what started all the rumors and commotion among cookies so it could open a window to corrupt Fount?

but it's interesting that this is the only case where the soul jam played a part on the fall of a virtue. The others, I think, they have fallen mainly because of the greed of other cookies or the weight of their own missions.
why it says "Fount of Knowledge?" and then "Shadow Milk Cookie"? Does that mean he is present Shadow Milk Cookie and he is aware that this is all a memory?
At first I thought that Light of Deceit was also Shadow Milk disguised, trying to corrupt his own past self as if it were a freaky time loop so his timeline could keep on existing (?). I thought that because Shadow Milk proved that he could act like the Light of Truth and could trick Pure Vanilla but maybe it's really the Light of Deceit.
Is it referring to the player (4th wall hello?) or to Pure Vanilla when he peeked through his memories back at the spire?

what exactly Shadow Milk did to the Light of Deceit here to silence it? I thought that it would explain the "pupil" of his soul jam, making it like some kind of "open wound" that resembles an eye but no.
It seems like his soul jam always had that detail, even on the Fount statue, so I discarded that thought but I'm still curious about to why it has that black line and the other soul jams are more "plain".
In the end, it seems the Light of Deceit managed to get what it wanted at the price of its own voice... but if this is a memory and it's all in the past how can the Light of Deceit still talk in the memory if it has been already silenced before?
or that is not part of the memory? then, how did Shadow Milk really fall from grace? God, I hate time loops and time jumps in the plot.
Anyway, this all still feel very cryptic and tangled, and doesn't clarify everything about the past of Shadow Milk for me. It's like giving us an empty gift.
