also I spent like... quite a while earlier trying to learn to harmonize with random songs & it's really weird some songs are actually really easy to do that with & some of them I swear to god I cannot find a harmony with

#well to be more accurate there's a bunch of random tiktoks where people sing harmonies of songs & ur supposed to sing the melody &#unfortunately for me most of them were meant for higher voices than mine #so part of the time I ended up singing additional harmonies?? to the harmony I was hearing?#part of the time I did manage to sing the melody but lower than the supposed to be slightly lower harmony part which actually sounded #really cool.#a fair bit of the time tho I was just sort of aimlessly singing not knowing quite what I was going for #one thing tho is apparently now when I don't know what note I'm going for I can still make it work by adding random embellishments #because like somehow most of the time even if I sing the wrong note it ends up still in the right key?#as long as there's something I'm singing along with #ah but when I'm out of tune woe is me it sounds soooo 😵‍💫#but anyway it's so satisfying when I do manage to get a harmony right or get some little improvised thing that actually sounds good #like ooooouuugh it's so
