i’ve never thought very highly of reminder tattoos that say “breathe” upside down on someone’s wrist and stuff like that but like
I’ve been considering getting a tattoo to help with dissociation/depersonalization? for when I’m freaking out and it helps to reaffirm who/what/where I am and all that jazz
something that says “this is real” or “you are here” or something cheesy like that. opinions/suggestions/ideas?
reallycraptattoos: why did you decide that the world needed a blog devoted to being an asshole? Like. “I’m going to look around for people doing something meaningful to them, and I’m going to BE A DICK TO THEM ABOUT IT.” C’mon now. Why did you think that was a good idea?
I don’t really care if you think my tattoo is shit, or that I shouldn’t have gotten it facing my body, or whatever else. It’s for me; it is a reminder to myself and myself alone. If anyone else thinks it’s cool, that’s nice, but it’s mine. But, really - the fact that you seek out things that are important to people in order to mock them? That’s just a dick move. That’s just plain shitty of you. It’s none of your damn business, and just, like, as a human being, I object to you doing this shit, to me or to anybody. It’s pure asshattery. Why do you think it’s anything else? (And what the fuck is up with your askbox text, for real? I’m sorry, you don’t get to say ‘don’t be an asshole’ on a blog whose only purpose is to insult other people. Again: c’mon now.)

Honestly when I first saw some tattoo blogs shitting on peoples tattoos it made me mad cause that person loves it and you are putting them down. But then I started looking at the tattoos they reblogged and I realized they ate pretty spot on. Honestly the blogs are good because they are pointing out what's wrong with a tattoo and so others see it and go "oh so I should not expect that okay" and also what's mainstream so that you can get true beautiful original pieces. I don't always think they should reblog every bad one cause some do have deep meanings and although they are on the internet for criticism it doesn't mean you should say anything. However I do know that I have a few tattoos y'all wouldn't like but I love them and that is what matters. The blogs aren't bad, they're actually pretty helpful.
My tattoo is not ‘upside down’ it is the way I chose to have it done, please fuck off from reblogging something that means a lot to me just to criticise it, what I choose to get done on MY skin is MY business, if you like it, great, thanks, if you don’t that’s fine but keep your shitty opinions to yourself, the fact that you shame tattoos as a ‘hobby’ says a fucking lot lmfao
Get a job
Do you really think my tattoos that bad?
reallycraptattoos and blogs like it need to piss the fuck off. You have got to be a really lonely, bitter, pretentious fuck to put so much time and effort into criticizing something that people do for themselves. Just because something doesn’t live up to YOUR PERSONAL STANDARDS doesn’t mean it’s bad. The only BAD tattoo is one that is done under unsafe/unhygienic conditions. Nobody is asking for your stupid ass, hateful opinion. Please eat an entire dick and shut the fuck up.
