I'm finally starting to feel like I'm back in "my" body. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While there are things that will never be the same again (*ahem them hips), the rest of me is feeling "normal". Some of that is my old norm, and some of it new. What I do know is that I feel comfortable in this body that is both familiar and totally new to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Yesterday I bought my very first pair of new jeans from The @gap in my new/current size. I know I'm going to continue to lose weight, but I also know my hips are never going to shrink back to what they were before. And you know what? I'm okay with that. Don’t let your mind bully your body 🤔 . This is insanely out of my comfort zone! (Also Disclaimer: Dad, I’m sorry you had to look at this picture!) . How many times have you gone on vacation and thought about how much you hated your body instead of enjoying the fact that you were on the beach?! 🙋🏼‍♀️ How many times have you looked at someone else wearing a bikini and then looked down at yourself and wished that you looked like them?? 👈🏻 Yup, that’s me. The problem is that I have been a size 0 and I have also been a size 14 and no matter what size I am, I always HATE something about my body. Today, I am on a mission to change MY self hatred and hopefully change YOURS also. . In today’s Vlog I talk a little bit about my insecurities and why I decided to have Alex (the one who I want to hide my body from most), take photos of me in a bikini on the beach. It's not where you go, its who you go with. 💑 . I can honestly tell you guys that Alex and I haven't always had the best relationship. It may look like we are always happy because that is what I make you see on the vlogs, but what you don't see is what I edit out. . You don't see the tears or the hurtful words that slip out once in a while, or the hard nights where we go to bed angry. I don't like to show those things because I want these videos to remind me of happy memories and don't get me wrong, the majority of them are... But we have definitely had our issues in the past. . And of course, being a YouTuber.. I do sometimes catch those issues on video. Which makes editing VERY hard because I feel like I have to go through it all over again. 🙁 . But I can truly say that going on vacation together has brought us even closer than living together for 3 years, ever could. . You can totally see that in todays Vlog! Be proud of who you are and not ashamed of how someone else sees you. . Yes guys!! It is finally @starbucks Holiday drink time and I am so excited to enjoy a Caramel Brulee Latte! .
