Devin is my OC, not for anything specific, and one day, I made a joke design about Devin being in a gacha game, and Reaper Devin would be like, a SSS tier pull.
Then I got invested in the design, and a concept of a knight who is under Death.
His scythe is actually not that sharp, it's moreso used for blunt damage, and yanking people in towards him like a cane. It's like a long, giant, glorified cane, really. He's just so exceptionally violent.
My interpretation of Death:
"Death is a fog full of shadowed figures that rolls in when it appears. Every shadowed figure is all a part, and is, Death. It can talk through any one of these shadowed figures."
It is because every being that dies is a part of Death, as is every being alive is a part of Life.
Sometimes, Reaper Devin will beat up someone to near death, to offer to Death as a gift. You know, just because.

I will probably give him colors another time, as well as draw or write his story of how he became a knighted reaper, but here are the colors and context of regular Devin to give an idea:
Context for regular Devin:
He is a man born with a special gene that grants him specialized combat skills but an aggravated mindset, and it only kicks in at around high school. He is a strong fighter, but isn't the brightest in the world. He does what he wants with brutal strength, and is pretty loud about it. He works at a huge company and also a different company, who hate each other, and his hiring at both places is regarded as a mistake. It’s assumed that he got hired in one place while working in the other, and they didn’t know that, but neither want to let go of him. No one knows which of which he got hired into first though. He's scary and daunting and loves to beat people up, especially when he is hired for it.
I mean, he's a very reckless driver who drives through multiple connected parking lots over curbs/sidewalks as a "short-cut".
His main passion is that he wants to beat up former CEOs and those in higher positions that fell from grace of being safeguarded. Not for any vigilante purposes, but because he enjoys the delight of finally beating up someone who was formally untouchable. There's no feeling like it.
