Reasons Goku is naive, gullible, and uneducated, not stupid:
#1 posted here
#2- Here’s an instance widely believed to be Goku acting stupid: he arrives on King Kai’s planet for his special training and believes the monkey is King Kai, even following his movements and acting like a monkey because he thinks it’s training
But consider:
-Goku, the strongest man on Earth, can’t even stand on this high gravity planet, and this monkey’s running circles around him
- no one mentioned anything about King Kai having companions. Goku was led to believe this was his planet with no one else on it, and he sees no sign of anyone here but Bubbles
- Goku’s used to weird training. After sniffing for rocks and hauling milk, monkey movements at high gravity are right in line with normal martial arts
- after meeting a pig who terrorized a village, a bunny gang who threatened his life, Earth’s God identical to the Demon King, and all the other crazy characters Goku encountered, it’s not surprising he expected to be trained by a monkey
Warnings: None, fluff (is not a warning but beware).
A/N: A huge shoutout and thank you to @roxy-davenport for being so sweet and helpful with me as this was my first time writing Crowley (by the way if you wanna ready some GOOD Crowley stories I suggest you go to her!) and the beta work!!
But You Left!
“Y/N?”
You force your eyes to remain focused on the screen in front of you, ignoring him completely. He walks closer, your fingers work faster, not minding the amount of typos you’re leaving behind.
“Y/N!” He insists, standing right next to you, bending forward to get even closer. You pull away from him to read from the open book at the table.
“Really darling, the silent treatment? You’re acting like a bloody child!”
Your hands slip off the keyboard, and your head whips rapidly to the side, the end of your ponytail almost hits you in the face. You glare up at him, pushing your reading glasses to meet the bridge of your nose.
“I am not a child!” you hiss through gritted teeth.
The King of Hell stares at you for a moment, his green eyes searching your face. “Could have fooled me. It might help if you stopped acting like one.”
Rolling your eyes, you turn towards the computer screen again and speak without looking at him. “What are you doing here anyway? I thought this was over…”
He sighs loudly and tries to pull the chair next to yours out but you hold it with your foot. “This seat’s taken!”
“By your foot?”
“Yeah. Sit somewhere else. Or better yet.” you look at him again. “Whatever you came here to say, say it standing up and then leave!”
“Love,” he begins and you cut him off.
“I am not your love!”
“Yes you are.” With one hand he stops both of yours and takes them to turn you away from the computer.
Your eyebrows shoot up in surprise and your lips pout. “You left,” is all you can manage while hiding the smile threatening to crawl up to your face.
“We’ve been over this darling. I’m a busy King. I had business to take care of.”
“I tried calling and texting but you never answered.” He pulls you up from your chair, your hands still in his.
“You never called- Oh wait,” you stop yourself in mid outburst. “I probably didn’t get those because I blocked you.” you shrug, Crowley smiles.
“But you left!” You keep fighting him, taking your hands from his. “I told you I wanted to go with you and you left all the same, and you left me!”
“Y/N, dear please be reasonable. I couldn’t take you with me. It was too dangerous. If I could I’d take you everywhere with me. But I refuse to put your life in jeopardy. If anything had happened to you I’d never forgive myself.”
Air puffs out of your mouth and your shift your weight from foot to foot. “So you didn’t leave me leave me?
“Of course not, Love. I’d never leave you.” He gives you big puppy dog eyes that makes you wonder how this big teddy bear can even be The King of Hell.
Looking away from him and biting your lower lip you get closer until you’re pressed against his always warm body. “So… Does this means we’re together again?”
He frowns. “Were we ever not together?”
“Well, yeah,” you point out fixing his tie. “Um… You left.”
“So you’ve said but Y/N, I didn’t really lea-”
You push your lips against his shutting him up. He reacts quickly, letting go of your hands and wrapping his hands around your waist but you push him away, parting the kiss and stepping back.
When his eyes flutter open you cross your arms over your chest and glare at him causing Crowley to sigh. “Y/N.” His thumb and forefinger spread over his forehead.
“You left and didn’t call,” you simply state.
“Love, I didn-”
“Which means we’re broken up,” you interrupt him, a smirk tugging at your mouth.
The lines on his forehead become more notorious as his black eyebrow shot up before he narrows his eyes at you. “Make up sex.”
You nod and bite your lip. “Make up sex,” you repeat.
With a loud growl Crowley backs you against the table, making everything on it fly away with a swing of his hand and reclaims your mouth.
“Maybe we should fight more often,” you moan as he pulls your lower lip between his teeth.
Fascinating how despite the fact that most Doctors are around for similar amounts of time over time the number of companions per Doctor has decreased, although I can think of 2 reasons as to why
